Looking for a freelancer/company to help us design a circuit for a physical game for kids, involving lasers, mirrors and light sensors. It needs to be hooked to a raspberry pi or alike to control the game logic. You will help us translate our concept into a working installation, define what is possible or not, select the components and design the circuit. We will also need wiring diagrams and specific instructions to provide our local contractor. Optionally, you could also provide us with some basic code to run the circuit.

Need a person to use Equest, Trane Tracer or any other HVAC energy analyzer softwares and create energy saving calculations for me. I sell efficient chillers, I'd like to approach buildings and design engineers with an estimated energy savings. This person would need to simulate the building load based on square footage, occupancy, floors, monthly electric bill, and existing chiller. Then build a load profile and compare against my chiller performance data to create an estimate on energy savings I can present to my customer. Please let me know if you have experience doing this. Thanks, Josh

Route attached Eagle board to match layout of attached PDF. The schematic should be complete, all desired component models are included in board file. Top DXF of the board is attached, and all parts are dimensioned on the attached PDF. - The GND and 12V lines to the motors (DYN icons) should be large enough to handle 2-3 amps - The GND/3.3V lines to the 28-pin J1 connector should be large enough to handle an amp - Space for wiring on the board may be tight. In the attached Sketch image there is a layout of how we imagined the wiring might work, but when trying to do that actual routing that planned layout may not work out. We can discuss how to slightly reshape the board to get more space if necessary Please inquire as to any questions! Desired turn-around is two to three days

We have a hydraulic power plant on a large piece of mobile plant. The diesel engine is mounted inside a cabinet much like a Genset. We want someone to do an acoustic simulation of the system so we can compare it to actual measurements and then when it is correct use it to predict different baffle or acoustic damping systems. The systems are used on urban civil construction so we want to reduce the acoustic signature as much as practicable. The project will be completed via gateways. The first being to develop or acquire an acoustic model of the engine including fan and exhaust. This may be available from the engine manufacturer or other source. You would be responsible for acquiring this model. The second gateway will be to embed the engine model in the equipment carriage model. We would provide the engineering diagrams for this as Autodesk Inventor models. This would then be used to predict the acoustic footprint of the machine. The third gateway would be to tweak the model...

Short description: In this system, each table in the restaurant gets a battery powered wireless calling device with buttons. When pressed, this calling device sends a wireless zigbee or generic 2.4GHz message that will be received by one or more of the base stations of the system, which are based on Raspberry PI A+. The master base station memorizes the call status for each transmitter so that said information can later be polled over wifi and displayed by apps run in smartphones worn by the waiters. The apps for said smartphones are developed in a separate project ? you don't have to develop them. Deliverables for this project: ? For the calling device; scematics, PCB layout, MCU firmware ? For the Raspberry base station; software (including installer script that makes the software start upon boot) All software must be delivered with source code, and all source code must be professionally written and well documented in English. Suggested milestones (open to discussion before proje...

From a given circuit schematic and choice of components already made, your tasks will be: 1. To verify the circuit components already chosen, 2. Incorporate best design practices into the schematic, 3. Convert the schematic into a PCB layout choosing relevant packaging and footprints, 4. Review and finalize the PCB design and deliver the source file as well as the Gerber files. The final board will have: 1. An AC side and a DC side with suitable isolation in between, 2. A PWM based switch mode power supply unit (the circuit will be provided to you), 3. Approximate dimensions of the PCB will be 150mm X 100mm, 4. Suitable for assembly by pick-and-place machines. It is vital that you have previous experience working with design of PCBs involving multiple voltage domains (AC and DC on same board). Deadline: 8 July 2015

Hello I'm looking for an engineer's opinion on two brands, Megger Insulation Testers comparing it against its equivalent at Megabras Insulation Testers. A comprehensive technical comparison is what I am looking for. Megger is well known and the usability has been well established, as such the other brand is not as known and i would like to have a standardized comparison sheet showing exactly the differences given the economical saving. models i am interested in MegaBras Digital Insulation Testers MD 5060x and MD 10KVx.
