The suggested hourly rate, weekly number of hours and project period in this post are guesstimates. I'm flexible towards a convincing response. We can start right away. I'm looking for an engineer with experience and confidence in the area of electromechanical and possibly pneumatic controls. Initial steps would involve surveying the available technologies and recommending a path for likely success. This will be followed by initial prototype design that can be implemented using the common machining tools we have in our shop (metal lathe and mill, electronics bench, plastics cnc, lo-res 3D printer) along with purchase or easily acquired parts (Digi-key and McMaster-Carr). The prototyping stage will likely need several design attempts spread over several weeks. Finally, with a successful prototype we will move to final design that can be implemented either in our shop or through fast-turnaround dedicated suppliers (machine shop, 3D printing, custom electronics tech) The concept is to d...

We are looking for an experienced electronics specialist who can design schematics from a description of what needs to be included. You will need to be able to take existing open source schematics, adapt and add components to suit our purposes. This will be a one off to begin with but if the product is successful we will need more designs done. If you are able to make the PCB afterwards and know about bill of materials, manufacturing etc. this is a huge advantage. Please apply if you are experienced and provide a portfolio of schematics and projects that you have worked on. English should be your native language or you are fluent in English including technical terms etc.

I am looking for an aerospace engineer to design a propeller fan for a personal project. It is preferable that the engineer have previous experience with the design of fans or propellers before. The engine specs, such as horsepower and rpm are already known. I am expecting a 3D model of the fan blades along with the forces exerted on the propeller so that I could build the blades accordingly. I will construct the fan blades out of carbon fiber. It is also preferable if the Engineer could design the molds that the fan blades will be made from. The Candidate has to be available to speak on skype and be willing to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement for the work done. Design based from my patent . i will send you the patent once awarded. Thank you and Good Luck

I need to use an existing certain chip to build a small device (roughly the size of 1x2x0.5 inch). The company who builds this new chip also provides an eval PCB, fully working and doing mostly what I need to do, however the PCB is too big and has some things on it that I don't need. Some knowledge of IEEE802.15.4-2011 UWB compliant, wireless transciever based techniques is a plus (the chip already does this, but the rest of the board needs to interface with the chip). I need someone to help me understand how I can condense their eval kit in to as small as possible and remove some of the components to help in this. I also need help in integrating a battery and MAYBE bluetooth (may not be necessary as it already has USB). I need the new version of this PCB designed in a way that I can just take a CAD file to a PCB printing company have have this manufactured in quantities of 100s or maybe even 1000s. I need someone who will work under a strict NDA, non-compete agreement and someon...

I have and FPGA firmware written in verilog. All the features implemented in this verilog code works well and to spec and have been fully tested. The features and functions implemented are about 95% of what we require. What we need help with is to implement the remaining 2 or 3 features, document and deliver the completed source code and other associated details. The FPGA being used is an Altera one.. We will carry out the final testing using our system. Please let me know if this would be of interest to you

I would like to get a product design for a high tech blue tooth device. The design must look modern, esthetically appealing, and elegant. The dimensions should be within 3.1 cm W x 8 cm H and 1.75 cm thick. I will provide more information to the individual I would like to hire prior to starting so that a more accurate quote can be provided. The design will need to include 2 d and 3d measurements so that the hardware engineers can finalize the electronic layout.

I am a practicing dentist and am attempting to improve on my LED lighted loupes which I use daily. I currently have some renderings, a designed circuit board, CAD drawings and circuit diagrams. Unfortunately the engineer who I had been working with has had some health problems and is unable to continue. He provided me digital files of all work performed thus far. I have a number of solid work files that I do not have the ability to view. At this time I need someone who can review the above items and see where I am in my project and whether or not they are viable. If they are viable, I would like an opinion as to the next step and possible manufacturing/production of said project. I am also interested in some patent protection of the prototype.

We are soliciting help in designing and building a wifi enabled strain gage system of sensors mounted to a composite hockey stick, to gather structural force data in-situ. We've done some early work and need to develop a more robust user-friendly set of components that can be produced and used in the field to gather data.
