I need someone who is capable of designing and laying out an embedded wireless mode, similar to the Metawear project on Kickstarter but with additional features. Reference:   [obscured]  /projects/guardyen/metawear-production-ready-wearables-in-30-minutes Hardware outline is as follows: - Ultra-low power embedded microprocessor - Bluetooth 4.0 (BTLE) transceiver - Touchless proximity sensor - Embedded ~1yr power source - Embedded GPS module The proximity sensor shall be capable of detecting human presence to a distance of about 10cm, self-calibrating and calculating a simple boolean state. The proximity trigger is expected to continue returning true as long as a body is in proximity, for as little as a few minutes to many hours of presence. All hardware shall be benchmarked to sample at regular intervals, and the power supply should last a minimum of a year with regular use. Microprocessor is optional if BTLE solution can execute code of your d...

I have a simple job making small design changes to a product that I sell. It is an electronic device but I just need some ideas and images about making some changes to the housing. If you are interested in this, let me know and I will send pictures of the product. I don't have any of the CAD drawings, although I am trying to see whether this is possible. I do have pictures of the present product.

I need a plastic tubing made with the extrusion process for a telescoping tube. The design is completed. First round will be 1000 units. Please include the manufacture of all parts, assembly, and shipping to USA, zip 80424. Color will be Oak(brown). I'm flexible on the exact plastic material (the material must slide easily). The telescope will not need much strength as it doesn't have much pressure on it. The material shouldn't crack or brake if you squeeze it with your figures or put light pressure on it. I will also accept proposals for the 3 section of the 2 foot plastic tubing with out the other parts and assembly. Please specify if you are only pricing the 3 sections of tubing. All dimensions are in inches and feet. NOT mm. thanks. Jared

Hello, I am looking for someone who can design the mechanical aspects of a wrist worn electronic so that those files can be used to manufacture several prototypes. Most industrial design is complete. It should be a fairly quick job and quite easy since I have everything dimensioned and some .DWGs. Most everything is thought out and solid but of course I'm open to suggestions. I need all of this done in two weeks. What's involved: Elastomers CNC milled metallic components Molds 3d files to be used for prototype purposes

I need circuit designed for a solid state relay, optically isolated from output to input to 7.5kV, for a load voltage between 125-250VAC (60 Hz) under a 40A max load. It specifically needs to have less than 100uA of leakage current when it is in the "position". It must also have a tolerance to transients with a dV/dt > 600 V/us and input DC voltage range from 4-32V. I need it designed, analyzed, and tested under a 15A load along with all testing results.

Looking to design and build a bluetooth device that will vibrate/alarm that will go off when out of range of a bluetooth device (phone, camera, etc..). It needs to be fairly small, yet have a loud audible speaker. It would be similar to this, but it needs to be much smaller.   [obscured]  /usb-bluetooth-alarm_p02120c036d15.html There is no need to build an app for it. It would run on small lithium watch batteries and would sound an alarm/vibrate when it detects that the bluetooth pairing/range is disconnected. Please ask for more clarification if needed.

Hello, I was wondering if you could create an electronic device for me? Unfortunately my knowledge of electronics is somewhat limited however; I have taken a video of the device to show what I am after.   [obscured]  /watch?v=NJKehBVTD7s Some Info: The EMP uses 10 wraps on the large coil and 100 wraps on the small coil. It uses 6 x 3.7v lipo batteries. The pulse timing can be changed via a button on the side. I would like to be able to charge the batteries from a dc jack plug. I am interested in just the PCB and components (no coil, case or batteries). I am after about 20 making for now. Would something like this be possible to make? If a pre-set chip with timings is not do-able could an alternative like a potentiometer to control the pulse timings be created? Unfortunately, I don't have a device I can send you as it was broken when it was taken apart by another company. If it makes it any easier I can call you or contact you through Skype etc. Many thanks, Robert Hetheri...

Hi I am trying to gain a deeper understanding of how a pre amplifier works. I have an operational knowledge using microphones but I would like to modify or even design my own at some point in the future. Before I get that far I would like to get some 1 hour long lessons over Skype or anything like skype covering the signal flow in a pre amplifier and how resistors, capacitors, op amps, transformers and other electronic components might change the original signal. I would also like advise on surface mount soldering and what equipment I should by for my first preamplifier. Of course this type of understanding will take a while and I would first like to start with 10x 1 hour long lessons. No pressure, I'm sure your not a teacher by trade and teaching over the internet will be hard, but I'm sure you could help my basic knowledge and become friends. My name is dennis and I live in Australia. I'm 28 years old living in Darwin with a pretty fast internet connection.

UPDATE: April 11, 2014 We are going to postpone this project as it currently is (addition of a separate sensor PCB) as we test using a off the shelf sensor board. If this method works, then we will be going straight into the development of a redesign of both the module and additional sensor boards. This posting will stay open until it automatically closes. We won't be selecting a freelancer until after our testing. Thank you We have an RF transceiver Module used in a mesh network that does not require any external components to operate but we would like to add additional sensors to it. You can view the module here   [obscured]  /weben/index.php?sekce=products&id=tr-52d&ot=transceivers&ot2=tr-52d Any questions, just message me. Thanks Neil

We're a robotics engineering firm in need of an artist to render 2D images of a concept graphical user interface (GUI). This is a quick, 1-2 day task, and requires no programming. We would only need 4-5 different concept screenshots of a GUI at 1080p resolution. The artwork should be sleek, industrial, and include control buttons and readouts for the following functions: - Start/stop - Manual navigation and jogging of the robot - Satellite imagery overlay with robot location and GPS coordinates - Options to change overlays with various "heat maps" - Various readouts for graphs and charts (we'll supply) - Start up / operation checklist (we'll supply content)
