Design all electronics for a sensor that use a voice recognition module. See attached PDF for manufacturer. Can use an alternative module, but needs to receive english words. This module uses pre-programmed typed words that systems listens for. Other modules need to be trained. Would consider other modules, but design fee needs to include simple method to activate voice training. When module detects words- data of this will be sent over TCP/IP via wifi to our server. It would send sensor ID, event, date, and time. Currently we a re using ESP8266 for wifi in other sensors. Good low cost. The sensor will need a method to connect it to the wifi network. Bluetooth or other very simple method. Creating the app to accomplish this should be included. All firmware to be included. The bid should include building 3 test units and all documentation for sourcing in for production in China.

Hello, I am exploring whether cell phones could be used to image molecular recognition events using terbium FRET (fluorescence resonance energy transfer). Some work has been done with cell phones:   [obscured]  /460802/Cost-effective_and_compact_wide-field_fluorescent_imaging_on_a_cell-phone Here are the specs for terbium FRET using conventional equipment: Excitation at 311 nm, delay 0.1 ms, gate time 1 ms, excitation and emission slit 8 nm, emission measured at 543 nm. Could this be done cheaply with cell phones? I dont know how much work this involves, thanks for your help, Paul

Looking for a freelancer/company to help us design a circuit for a physical game for kids, involving lasers, mirrors and light sensors. The game is a sort of puzzle where the player needs to make a laser beam reach a light sensor by moving small mirrors to reflect the light. It needs to be hooked to a raspberry pi or alike to control the game logic. The game size is approximatively 4m x 2.5m x 0.5m. You will help us translate our concept into a working installation, define what is possible or not, select the components and design the circuit. We will also need wiring diagrams and specific instructions to provide our local contractor. Optionally, you could also provide us with some basic code to run the circuit.

We have a hydraulic power plant on a large piece of mobile plant. The diesel engine is mounted inside a cabinet much like a Genset. We want someone to do an acoustic simulation of the system so we can compare it to actual measurements and then when it is correct use it to predict different baffle or acoustic damping systems. The systems are used on urban civil construction so we want to reduce the acoustic signature as much as practicable. The project will be completed via gateways. The first being to develop or acquire an acoustic model of the engine including fan and exhaust. This may be available from the engine manufacturer or other source. You would be responsible for acquiring this model. The second gateway will be to embed the engine model in the equipment carriage model. We would provide the engineering diagrams for this as Autodesk Inventor models. This would then be used to predict the acoustic footprint of the machine. The third gateway would be to tweak the model...

Short description: In this system, each table in the restaurant gets a battery powered wireless calling device with buttons. When pressed, this calling device sends a wireless zigbee or generic 2.4GHz message that will be received by one or more of the base stations of the system, which are based on Raspberry PI A+. The master base station memorizes the call status for each transmitter so that said information can later be polled over wifi and displayed by apps run in smartphones worn by the waiters. The apps for said smartphones are developed in a separate project ? you don't have to develop them. Deliverables for this project: ? For the calling device; scematics, PCB layout, MCU firmware ? For the Raspberry base station; software (including installer script that makes the software start upon boot) All software must be delivered with source code, and all source code must be professionally written and well documented in English. Suggested milestones (open to discussion before proje...

I am looking to improve conventional HFAC (air conditioning system) Controller. I need design for the board and prototype made if needed. The system will do the following Input 120VAC and 240VAC / Output 24VAC Board will receive input from 8 thermostats which send 24VAC signal to Board When Signal is received the Board needs to start (using relay) High Voltage Motors (blowers) and in some cases also send 24VAC to another device. Board needs to be connected to Network using Ethernet Cable All of these rules need to be configurable in some software utility Board needs to be connected ready OHM from Temperature sensors (8 of them ) Board needs to be able to receive information from network for each 8 zones about Requested temperature. Board needs to make decisions as to if temperature is ABOVE requested then DO THIS if below THEN DO THIS. Programmable on board. This is the first time I am designing a board so I will need assistance and iterations.

Need to design an Ultrasonic motion sensor and notfyer to be installed in the wheel arches of a car. Need the design to be able to build the unit myself. This project is to avoid parking tickets my creating notification when a parking officer marks my car tyres with chalk. When the parking officer moved their hand under the wheel arch the movement will be detected and I will be notified by text, email or key fob beeper. ( Range required approx 500m and within a building) The sensor could be mounted under the wheel arches ( the 2 front) or on the body of the car above the wheel arches. Ideally the components to build the project will be less that $250 and be available from online sellers. I imagine Arduino or rasberry pi will be the best options for a controller. Ideally the unit will be battery powered so I dont have to wire it into the car. With the bulk of the unit being attached to the dash an an on off switch so I can arm the unit when I get out of the car. Ideally the plans ...

Hi! I am developing a robotic unit for household appliance. I am an experience programmer and CNC technician, but I have little experience with arduino. I would like to get in contact with the most experienced arduinist out there to help me spec the design, select the appropriate stepper motors, servos, adruino shields for my application. This is consulting by the hour. I can disclose some information on the nature of the unit, but not all - (unless we work well together and there is trust). Current design has the following components 2x medium stepper motors (for traction) 2x medium / small stepper motors (for driving two carjack-type actuators) 1x small stepper motor or servo for controlling the direction of a doppler (ultrasonic) / and (possibly) a web camera 1x large (stepper) motor for main internal operation. (ca 30 rpm after gear reduction) 1x 180 deg servo motor. Must be fairly strong, but can be slow moving. The plan is to have minimal code on the unit itself, and perfor...

Hi, we want to use an IR sensor for a medical application (temperature between 25-45 C). We're interested only in the temperature change of the target (we're not interested in the absolute temperature itself). We would like to know whether there is any adaptation / optimization we can apply to the camera / readout circuit in order to improve its temperature difference accuracy? (compared to the usual case where the circuit is optimized to output absolute temperature, and then we derive the images, frame by frame, to obtain the change in temperature). I need you to support the solution with a reference and/or a calculation that would show the expected improvement in performance due to the optimization for temperature change (compared to the usual systems that are optimized for measuring absolute temperature). Best regards, Gil
