In the sales process we access multiple systems to identify companies to contact. We have a difficult time keeping track of which companies we've analyzed and decided not to contact because they're never loaded into a CRM. For the companies that we decide to contact, we use multiple systems to contact them and we use a CRM (infusionsoft) to track our progress with those companies. So, when we access contact databases, we have to sift through the ones we've already contacted, and the ones that we know we don't want to talk to, in order to find the new companies to add to our list. Ideally, I would like to have a database of companies and contacts that can communicate between all the systems we use and help us get organized. I'm familiar with the capabilities MS excel and MS access, but ignorant of any other tool that may be better.
