Hi All I'm looking for someone that knows about Video Encoding/Transcoding using ffmpeg. Especially those with exposure to mobile formats. My client has a service that supports videos in 3 current flavours, 2 x 3gp (mobile & Android) and 1 x mp4 for iPhone. We can supply output from ffprobe based on an example of each and using ffmpeg we want to replicate the same outputs on future encoding jobs. Specifically what I need is the exact parameters to supply ffmpeg to replicate the current videos as they were encoded using the Encoding.com service originally. We're also looking to support WebM and Apple HLS in the very near future so any knowledge of these using ffmpeg would be very advantageous to your bid. It's a long term 'consultancy' position so best examples and your hourly rate please at this stage. Arran

The title says it all, we need someone to develop a ANE (Adobe Native Extension) so we can stream H264 over RTMP. Preferably (not sure if feasible) using the GPU to reduce battery consumption. Otherwise, ffmpeg could do the job. For someone who knows what they are doing it's a few hours of work. The deliverables would include all the source code so we can recompile as SDK changes.

What you MUST be familiar with: 1. Efficient resource usage. Create (convert) a media stream efficiently to achieve low bandwidth and still acceptable quality where possible issues are high CPU usage, overheating, battery drain. 2. Sending the stream. Previous experience with FFMPEG and RTMP protocol for sending audio/video to media server, Wowza in our case. 2.1. HLS (HTTP Live Streaming) and H.264. 3. At least understanding of progressive download (pseudo-streaming) and adaptive bitrate streaming (multiple renditions for different bandwidths) so the iOS app can choose the right stream for the connection speed (  [obscured]  /wiki/Adaptive_bitrate_streaming). What we already have: - all the above, as a complete system built on Java, Node.js, React, Actionscript and Wowza, we also have both iOS and Android apps built with Air. The system is working perfectly from any device and it does a great job on OS X, Windows and Linux but a not-so-great job on iOS and Android where w...

Looking for a consultation considering the audio flow encoding module based on FFMPEG library. Currently video and audio capture is being proceeded by means of DShow (DirectShow). Flows are being periodically requested and AVPackets for recording are being formed. For encording a class is being used with functions of adding of audio and video AVPackets. Video packets recording is going ok, however during the audio recording some errors appear, for example "EXCEPTION ACCESS VIOLATION" error or "recording error" during the file recording. In addition to that there is a problem of using h264 codec, it needs additional initialization parameters. Looking for a correct realization of coding class. What is being used: Qt4/C++, Visual Studio 2010, boost 1.58, ffmpeg API 2.6
