I'm working on a POV display setup with an LED matrix and would like to investigate the possibility of having a custom matrix/PCB made and the costs involved. The purpose of a custom matrix is to allow for very high panel refresh rates (driven by an FPGA card). Most panels only draw 16 LEDs at a time, which is very slow. Since only one LED will be lit at a time per column in my setup, it should make the power and panel draw simpler/faster - see attached JPG. Hopefully, all 64 columns can be drawn at the same time. You'd design the PCB/led drivers, etc. I can solder the LEDs by hand myself. I'd like to keep it around 10"/26cm long or less if possible. Please let me know how you plan to achieve it, and quote if possible, for the 2 possible versions below. Thanks.
