Research and write historical timelines for countries of the world. This job requires excellent research skills, a critical editorial mind, and the ability to write dense, complex text with clarity and precision. You will need to sift through centuries of information, determine fact from fiction, choose the most relevant events, reconcile conflicting sources, adopt a fluid time perspective, create a cohesive narrative, pack it unambiguously into few words, and make it shine. If done correctly, the articles will inform, educate, delight, and require very little editing. Articles are submitted weekly and range from 1,500 to 2,500 words.
