I am a computer programmer working full time developing in java, python and other web technology. I am in the process of creating a custom theme for a personal wordpress site that I have. I have a handle on the php and wordpress end of things, but need help on the design end of things. I work with designers on a daily basis, and know what to look for in well coded HTML/CSS. For code standards, this is what I expect: - Well formatted HTML 5. Good comments in the code. I will be "cutting" up the html to put it into WordPress templates, comments help me find which blocks of html belong together. - Responsive design. The HTML needs to be mobile ready. - Well formatted and organized CSS. CSS should be in an external file. CSS file should be well organized so that it's easy to navigate and find relevant styles. - Use modern frameworks where it makes sense. Bootstrap maybe? Do you know something better? Or maybe you have good reasons not to use frameworks. You're the expert, but p...

I have a code editor I've put together that can be found here: [obscured] /editor/ The editor was made using ACE code editor, and is being developed using PHP. It doesn't use a database, and is a bit light which is the aim. All configurations are currently saved to a file, data.php. All features are stored in an array, and upon page refresh data.php is remade. Most of the features you see in my example are static. There is a PHP/JS-based file manager built in that currently only works on a localhost (WAMP, etc). This needs to be modified so that it works even on a web server (Update: perhaps it was a fluke, and seems to be working now). Also, in addition to making the file manager work on a web server, the ability to open files in the code editor needs to be developed, as well as the file(s) being opened in tabs. The tab UI is already made, and just needs to be programmed. I'll also need a context menu built into the file manger area. Right now, if you right cl...

In search of a professional developer to develop a mobile app, card playing app: Rules of the game: 1. Heads Up: Two players, one on one. 2. Cut-throat: Three players, in this game after a player wins the bet and calls the Trump, the other two players form a temporary unspoken truce to try to 'Shoot' the bidder. Players who do not honor this truce are seen as selfish and called 'Nickel Grabbers' (each 'Trick' is worth 5 points). Five-Way Cut-throat: Similar to normal 3 man cut throat. In this game it is much harder to make your bid as it tends to be 4 vs. 1 and the bidder is often shot. 3. Partners: Either four or six players, with partners sitting opposite. Partners points are pooled towards overall score, and towards bid. ? Cards are dealt the same as in Forty Fives except that three cards are dealt to the kitty after each player has their first three cards. (Games are often played 'No Kitty' and are considered to be more legitimate) ? Instead of the top card being turned over after...
