Looking for someone with knowledge of both systems and preferably installed it before on dreamhost.com. Need this for a module on Xataface Dreamhost runs Debian. Instructions below from PDFtk.   [obscured]  /tools/pdftk-server/ Build PDFtk Server You can compile PDFtk Server from its source code. PDFtk Server is known to compile and run on Debian, Ubuntu Linux, FreeBSD, Slackware Linux, SuSE, Solaris and HP-UX. Download and unpack: pdftk-2.02-src.zip (~2MB) Review the pdftk license information in: license_gpl_pdftk/readme.txt. Review the Makefile provided for your platform and confim that TOOLPATH and VERSUFF suit your installation of gcc/gcj/libgcj. If you run apropos gcc and it returns something like gcc-4.5, then set VERSUFF to -4.5. The TOOLPATH probably doesn't need set. Change into the pdftk sub-directory, run make -f Makefile.Debian (substitute your platform's Makefile filename) We have built pdftk using gcc/gcj/libgcj versions 3.4.5, 4.4.1, 4.5.0 and 4.6.3. Pdftk ...

We require the services of an expert in PFSENSE. We will install the PFSENSE and configure the interfaces. There will be two in this case. 1 x LAN and 1 x WAN (ADSL) The following needs to be done: 1. Install squid + configure 2. Install SquidGuard + configure. 3. We will provide a list of websites and categories to be blocked. 4. The server will then need to be rebooted multiple to ensure SquidGuard does not crash and successfully starts up without any errors. 5. Traffic Shaper will then need to be configured. We have a 4MB ADSL line (download speed) and 512K (upload speed). We need all P2P traffic to be throttled to just 2% of the line speed. HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP, POP3 traffic must be given priority. * NOTE: This exact configuration has been attempted before, but internet browsing as a whole is VERY slow. Once the Traffic shaper is disabled then internet browsing speeds return to normal. We are missing something in the PFSENSE config. Also, we will need documentation for all proc...

Hello, I'm running a PFsense installation with a OpenVPN server. The clients that are connected cannot see the servers on the PfSense LAN within the network discovery from Windows. I need to access a SQL server inside a program thats on the LAN of PfSense. The program uses Windows Network Discovery to get a list of SQL servers. Things I tried - Enable Netbios over TCP/IP in openvpn configuration. - Force all netbios to be enabled. Network Discovery works fine on the PfSense LAN. Inside the LAN, each pc/server can find each other. On the LAN where the clients connect to the openvpn, network discovery works fine aswell. The 2nd lan (where the clients connect), I can fully work with the openvpn connection. Please see the image, for what I mean with "Network Discovery". Thanks. Roy

Input:   [obscured]  /articles/compressing_proxy   [obscured]  /danielgtaylor/jpeg-archive   [obscured]  /rflynn/imgmin Need to create a FreeBSD (preferred) or Linux server with Squid that would automatically use jpeg-archive or imgmin to compress all JPEGs. (We'll need to test both and see which one is best.) Has to be able to withstand good load - many hundreds of concurrent connections. Has to be glitch-free. Has to be a container - easily re-deployable as vm on other hardware. (In case of FreeBSD, I'll provide a virtual server to deploy this and will simply clone that server.) Candidates able to do further development (optimization of other image formats) are preferred.
