This job will be to transcribe 28:04 minutes of audio content and will be an experiment for both of us to see whether we can work together well for future projects. We are more interested in the SEO of the articles created from the transcripts than absolute accuracy in the grammar, transcriptions, etc. We are interested in getting a good value with tradeoffs able to be made with speed, accuracy, efficiency, etc. This job will also provide an excellent learning opportunity about the Bitcoin space since interviews are with experts. For this job I am looking for someone who will be able to transcribe one of the interviews and be able to fit into an efficient work flow. The interview is 29:49 with a 0:45 intro and 1:00 outro, both of which do not need to be transcribed, for a net time of 28:04 to be transcribed. Please understand that Step 4 with Github is essential for our work flow. If you cannot handle that then please do not waste the time of either of us. Steps will include: 1.)...

The task is to produce weekly summaries of recent content from a number of technical blogs loosely related to distributed computing (a specific list of which blogs is provided below). The summaries ideally will be approximately 250-500 words. They should summarize any trending topics, key terms and technologies and products, significant developments, content that seems potentially interesting, or other noteworthy news. They should contain hyperlinks to the original article and/or other resources (such as Wikipedia links to technology descriptions or company homepages) to support the summary and provide further detail. The summaries should be clear and well-written, but are not intended for publication and therefore do not need to be edited to perfection. Producing high-quality summaries will require some degree of technical understanding of the content; however, extensive preexisting expertise is not a requirement. This is intended to be a weekly task. One summary per week del...

We need some help with hive/hadoop configuration. The problem is that we can't access hive server 2 using pyhs2 (  [obscured]  /BradRuderman/pyhs2) library. Task would be configure authentication of hive server 2 and expose it to all LAN machines. We can't give you direct access to server, so you'll have work directly with me to fix these issues or we could provide access to server by teamviewer. If it makes things simpler we have Cloudera Manager. Please don't apply if you can't do that today.

We will provide you with a list of 10 processors. From that list I need you to find their integration documents and sample code (code base) to connect to them (connect to their API). Much of the sample code is already out there on a Git repository or provided by the Processor. We do not want you to write the code, only find it and deliver it to us. Some companies have more than one product; I need all of them that have to do with processing money. I am only interested in C#/.NET. I need you to create a dropbox (or something similar to share with me) folder for this project. Each Processor will have their own folder, and inside that folder there will be 2 folders. 1 folder for integration documents and one folder for sample code. I need a word document in the processor folder that contains the URL's for every file you download or every page you found the integration documents. Once the first 10 are completed we will evaluate if more can be delivered. Here is an example: I will give ...

**NOTE: Applicant must be on OSX (mac) ** I need help creating some text files, from portions of some books that I've marked up. The general process will be: 1. Looking at scanned, marked up copy for the the highlighted or marked text. 2. Finding and copying that text in a second file (either an ePub or a PDF). 3. Copying and pasting the text into a text file, formatted using the Markdown syntax (explained below) I've attached a few files that should give you a sense of this process - a scanned PDF, an ePUB file for the book, and a partial example of the "product" text file, with all section headings captured, and the text marked up using markdown. APPS FOR READING ePUB, and WRITING MARKDOWN You'll need *Kitabu* to open and copy from the ePub file, which is available on the Mac App store:   [obscured]  /us/app/kitabu/id492498910?mt=12 In order to write/preview in Markdown, you can either use the online editor dillinger.io, or Lightpaper:   [obscured]
