I'm in the process of trying to get the following project to work 100% [obscured] /spoletto/iOS-HTML5-Tethering. I've successfully been able to send and receive data with some modifications to the current project, but I'm still limited when it comes to using the browser. Due to the fact that I need to create an adhoc network, my laptop (OS X Yosemite) considers me to be offline. I can send out request through the terminal, but since the laptop is considered as "offline", the browser refuses to send out any requests when attempting to visit a website. For this project, I need someone to figure out how I can tell/trick the laptop into being online while connected to the adhoc network. I'm open to any solution but I would imagine this might require a custom network driver. I have another app that does this exact functionality that I could provide to you if you're interested in reverse engineering it (I don't have the source code, just the binary).
