For project 3, you are to write an emulator for the y86 instruction set using the C programming language. The y86 architecture is a very small subset of the x86 instruction set which performs many of the essential functions of x86 and which is useful for teaching and research purposes. I have included a number of documents about y86 which has all the essential details about the architecture, including a chapter from the textbook for which the instruction set was developed. Your emulator should read in a text file that contains only the opcode bytes representing the program. The file will be plain ASCII text file representing the bytes (not a binary file). Assume there will be no spaces or line breaks, only bytes. Load the program into memory starting from the first byte of memory (memory address 0). Your emulator should run the program completely and output the final state of the registers, the program counter, and the condition flags. The y86 architecture contains a memory region c...

The remote web debugger is   [obscured]  /Kozea/wdb - allows to run a server somewhere, and use the client to step into debugger. Connect to the server via a webpage, and have the whole debugging console in that webpage. This is done and working, both client and server - in Python. Now I want to run the client in IronPython - just the client, there'd be more work to be done on the server. I've managed to make a set of changes that enable me to run the client in IronPython (  [obscured]  /kerray/wdb/), connect it to a server runnning in standard Python and debug IronPython code. HOWEVER there are currently two problems, and there may be some more: 1) the debugger steps through IronPython code and then doesn't end, instead continues stepping through threading code etc. 2) the debugger doesn't step through main module code - only when there's a function call from main module level it allows to step through the function, but after return it only starts stepping through code w...

We need a guy that creates for us a custom Centos 6.6 minimal install with these characteristics: The image must be Debian, Ubuntu, OpenSUSE or CentOS to have the correct network settings to be properly configured. The image should be a current version of the distribution. Installing a previous version is usually still possible for a certain amount of time after a new version is released, but this is not actively maintained (e.g., CentOS 5.x instead of 6.x or Debian 6.0 instead of 7.0). The complete OS must be archived in a .tar.gz format and be placed on a Web, NFS or FTP server. The archive should not contain "/dev", "/proc" or "/sys" folders. The archive must have the name of the distribution and the release at the second position within the file name (eg. "Debian-60-image.tar.gz" or "image-121-suse.tar.gz"). The boot loader "grub" must be installed and selected in the configuration file. There should only be a kernel in ...

Our company currently has a website and application that is hosted through AWS (Amazon Web Services). We have multiple developers always working and making changes on the site and backend. We have no way of tracking how much work is actually being done and the code that is changing. We are looking to have someone assist us with implementing GitHub's version tracking. From what I understand, this will involve experience with GitHub as well as AWS. I think the AWS CodeDeploy Service must be incorporated to make this work. We are open to suggestions. I prefer someone who has done something like this before.

Note : Project based in USA but this is 100% remote, work from anywhere. A BIT ABOUT US We're on our way to redefining an industry - one that was left for dead. What do Stanford, Harvard, Yale, University of Miami, Duke, University of Michigan, Baylor, Costco, Sam's Club and (soon to be) Walgreens all have in common? They run hearing aid centers. A hearing aid center is a place where those who suffer from hearing loss can be tested, counseled and hopefully fit with a pair of hearing aids. We're building a software that will transform how hearing aid centers all over the world operate and deliver patient care. We've spent over a year creating a product that's beautiful, functional and above all, something people want. We're a month out from shipping the app and couldn't be more optimistic about the future. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR An awesome engineer who feels at home in Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, ActiveAdmin, Chef and AWS. You must be very comfortable writing tests (we use Rspe...

I am trying to understand the code of how the feedback loop works for GPS-path based movement of a UAV/drone (i.e., Position waypoint sequence/mission). I would like someone to take a look at ArduPilot (the open-source flight-control software provided by 3DRobotics) to see how it works in general, then provide an explanation via a Skype chat session and answer some questions I have. It helps if you already have experience with ArduPilot or else flight-controllers for UAVs/drones in general. Here is the link to the code and general description: (1)   [obscured]  /diydrones/ardupilot/tree/master/libraries/AC_WPNav (Look for AC_WPNav.cpp and AC_WPNav.h) (2)   [obscured]  /wiki/common-planning-a-mission-with-waypoints-and-events/

Presentation of the Project: Beta cryptocurrency mining software for test purposes only Technical Characteristics: On such premises, I ask the Creation of a User-Friendly Software with Robotic Opening of various accounts on different Free Clouds, that allows the implementation of the operations listed below and the installation of the following softwares: 1. Choose 2 Free Cloud providers to open the Accounts at and install miner software 2. Choose another 2 but make 1 free cloud provider to store data of all accounts and 1 more provider to backup this data ( but all cloud providers that store data must give decent amount of bandwidth for good hash-rate speed) 3. software will need to be able to create an account, and fully install mining script running at a consistent 8 to 10 GH/s atleast every 30 seconds with option to slow account creation down (ex... every 5 to 6 minutes as being minimum)... software will also need an option to pause account creation but without ...
