Need to create a custom Logstash http plugin in Ruby which would store the json logs in an internal http system with the following requirements: o Needs to have a batch_size with a default value i.e. buffer certain number of events before flushing that out to http system. o Idle_Flush_Time with a default value. The amount of time since last flush before a flush is forced. For example, if the batch_size is 100 and you have received 20 events and it has been more than the Idle_Flush_Time seconds since the last flush, Logstash will flush those 20 events automatically. The instructions to create the Logstash plugin is documented here:   [obscured]  /guide/en/logstash/master/_how_to_write_a_logstash_output_plugin.html The generic Logstash http output plugin exists   [obscured]  /logstash-plugins/logstash-output-http However it doesn't batch the log events but sends one log event at a time. There are good references like Influx Db Logstash output plugin   [obscured]  /elasti...

We are looking to build a plugin for SKETCH   [obscured]  /sketch/ which will act a lot like layer comps in photoshop. This plugin will essentially give the user the ability to turn on/off groups of layers at the same time. Most of the heavy lifting for how to do this is already done in this plugin:   [obscured]  /wentin/sketch-states-switch . But we want to change the functionality a bit. The "sketch states switch" plugin only allows you to save and recall states from 5 predefined states that you cannot change the name of. So all of the logic for writing and recalling states is in that plugin. We just want to add additional functionality as so: - The menu will contain 4 sub menus: 1. Switch to State (this will contain a sublist of all existing states. Selecting 1 will execute that state -- this is the same functionality of the "sketch states switch" plugin mentioned above) 1. Create New State (If user selects this they will ge...

I have a time tracking (saas) application I built while teaching myself Ruby on Rails. It's functional, but the code is pretty ugly.(i.e. commented out 'trial & error' code, duplication, etc) and I need help with a few tasks: - Need to switch from current Sqlite3 database to PostgreSQL. - Remove unused/unnecessary gems/dependencies - Role base authorization (I have been trying to use CanCanCan. I couldn't get it to work) - Heroku set-up and deployment - Code Review with detailed notes. ( Excellent communication is a must. I am using this project as a way to learn RoR, as well as an MVP.) Please reply with experience, price and Github profile (if possible). Thanks for reading! Brittany

We are building a tool that can help restaurants search and buy from vendors, and always be on top of their supply chain. I need to change a few things on my site because I have to work on some other stuff, so I don't have time to do it myself. I hope I can find a talented coder to work with on different projects long term. I have devise setup and running with 2 user models. I need to add a third model, and change some of the functionality. This is an intro project for a much larger project, and if you prove yourself here, you will have a lot more work given to you as soon as we finish this one! Functionality Changes: Devise password validation, passwords should be 8 characters, and contain at least 1 number and 1 letter. each model has their own login page, and landing page. Company User I need to change one of the current business_user models that will allow them to register only if they get an invite link via email, and not require them to verify their email upon signup (because they can only sign up with the email address they got an invite to). the current business_user model belongs_to a company...

I want to implement a map with Fabric.js. It needs viewport functions like zooming or grabbing. Actually there is a viewport implementation for fabricjs   [obscured]  /rstgroup/fabricjs-viewport. delivery: within 7 days of project start I want a very simple alarm clock for iOS PhoneGap, probably based on   [obscured]  /wnyc/cordova-plugin-wakeuptimer It's just a prototype, so the design can be rough. There are only 2 pages: 1. a 'setup' page: * 2 data entry fields: alarm time, alarm name (message) * an on/off slider * an 'OK' button which will go to the clock page 2. a 'clock' page: * current time (updated every minute) in large text * the alarm time & name * a 'Set' button which will go to the setup page I assume (?!?) that cordova-plugin-wakeuptimer handles the alert when an alarm rings, though perhaps there's some work to be done there too. I'm looking for a developer who has time to start right away, and can *quickly* build a basic PhoneGap app. I hope to find a contractor who is responsive and with close attention to detail -- there's lots more to be done after this starting point.
