While the tool is important, having perfect written English, a sense of humour, and a love of helping people is far more important (we can teach you zendesk, can't really teach the rest). To be a perfect candidate, you'd have everything above (though Zendesk we can teach you), and a systems/logical/problem solving approach to the world.
