We are soliciting help in designing and building a wifi enabled strain gage system of sensors mounted to a composite hockey stick, to gather structural force data in-situ. We've done some early work and need to develop a more robust user-friendly set of components that can be produced and used in the field to gather data.

We are seeking an electronics developer to design a remote field communications solution to enable us to monitor operation of equipment at our customers' premises. This project is initially a feasibility study to specify software environment, key hardware components, and to estimate production costs. The second phase will be for the actual design. We will need design of both sensors and the controller which receive signals from the sensors and communicate with our office. SENSORS We will be monitoring operation of electromechanical equipment which currently only provides local alarms when critical components fail. The machine has a front panel which displays a red light after a failure. We need to read alarm signals from the device and send them to our controller. We would like the sensors to utilize a standard interface to connect to the controller.
