Our functional board must be resized for a new enclosure. Aspects of the design, such as power supply, are to be verified and improved where necessary. Our objective is to obtain a commercially viable board suitable for our consumer product. There should be an option to allow the device to be operated remotely via a blue tooth or WiFi module.

I need to do a lighting system controlled by PIC Microcontroller. This will consist of an array of 9 smd bright LEDs (Osram Oslon SSL leds) controlled by one Ultrasonic Module HC-SR04. An occupancy sensor will start the program if motion is detected in the room, and an LDR (or whichever sensor is best for measuring ambient light) will measure ambient light levels in order to adjust the LEDs levels. When the hand stays at certain position from the ultrasonic sensor, for more than 3 seconds, it will change the light qualities (turning some leds on and off) depending on how far the hand moves from the sensor. I have some of the program written, which sets the ultrasonic module, converts the input into dimensions (cm) and changes the lights according to the distance. I am using a master-slave program and two pics, a a PIC 16F1827 (master, with the sensors) and a PIC16F819 (slave, with the LEDs). I am asking for completing the program, and for the circuit schematic. Ideally some advi...

I need someone who is capable of designing and laying out an embedded wireless mode, similar to the Metawear project on Kickstarter but with additional features. Reference:   [obscured]  /projects/guardyen/metawear-production-ready-wearables-in-30-minutes Hardware outline is as follows: - Ultra-low power embedded microprocessor - Bluetooth 4.0 (BTLE) transceiver - Touchless proximity sensor - Embedded ~1yr power source - Embedded GPS module The proximity sensor shall be capable of detecting human presence to a distance of about 10cm, self-calibrating and calculating a simple boolean state. The proximity trigger is expected to continue returning true as long as a body is in proximity, for as little as a few minutes to many hours of presence. All hardware shall be benchmarked to sample at regular intervals, and the power supply should last a minimum of a year with regular use. Microprocessor is optional if BTLE solution can execute code of your d...

Computer engineering is a discipline that integrates several fields of electrical engineering and computer science required to develop computer hardware and software.[1] Computer engineers usually have training in electronic engineering (or electrical engineering), software design, and hardware-software integration instead of only software engineering or electronic engineering. Computer engineers are involved in many hardware and software aspects of computing, from the design of individual microprocessors, personal computers, and supercomputers, to circuit design. This field of engineering not only focuses on how computer systems themselves work, but also how they integrate into the larger picture.[2] Usual tasks involving computer engineers include writing software and firmware for embedded microcontrollers, designing VLSI chips, designing analog sensors, designing mixed signal circuit boards, and designing operating systems. Computer engineers are also suited for robotics research, ...

Using two enforcers (with reflectors) I have a prototype already made. The board inputs a signal from the two enforcers and outputs either a 1, 2 or 2,1 (depends on the direction of crossing the beams). I'd like to document and create a PCB sketch from it to eventually order multiple units of it.

I want to design a iPhone 5 Case that has slots to accept power from the following potential power cords: +iPhone 4 +Apple notebook +Regular USB +Samsung Galaxy S4 +LG G2 +Nokia Lumia 520 +HTC One I want the case to have slots for each of these cords to plug into. Each slot would be covered by a plastic fin. My hunch is for this to work, each of these slots could lead to a central charging pad (see enclosed photo of charging pad) that is sandwiched between the phone and the case (ie the charging pad is on the inside of the case). I enclosed hand drawn sketches of what I had in mind. Please pardon the chicken scratch. If you have any questions let me know. Need electrical engineer to design manufacture ready CAD for this. To apply, please send application listing experience, word 'elephant' towards the beginning of your application, and whether you think the charging pad is the best solution for this challenge. Don't do hours of research upfront to find the best solution for this a...

I need circuit designed for a solid state relay, optically isolated from output to input to 7.5kV, for a load voltage between 125-250VAC (60 Hz) under a 40A max load. It specifically needs to have less than 100uA of leakage current when it is in the "position". It must also have a tolerance to transients with a dV/dt > 600 V/us and input DC voltage range from 4-32V. I need it designed, analyzed, and tested under a 15A load along with all testing results.

You can build a circuit with arduino type. But it must be the smallest possible self after installation and costed the cheapest. I am open to the suggestion of design to make it more simple. the less expensive to manufacture and less weld. It ok for welding Surface mount Total dimension max +/- 3 in by 5 in Reads the voltage of the solar panel and depending on the output voltage it will set a time in minutes. High intensity 100% = 15 min. Intensity 20% min = 60 min and is proportional ratio when the intensity is between the maximum and minimum. Below +/- 20%. a message is displayed = Not efficient for this moment or what ever Push a bottom to activate the countdown and reset timer. On oled Display - time 0-60 min with the countdown. Display setup option Logo display in standby mode RED OR GREEN monochrome Size + / - 2 in x 2 in You can use a circuit board like arduino or micro arduino. Thank you !
