Hi We are implementing a chat application with OpenFire server. In order to detect the online/offline status of users, OpenFire sends the ping requests with a period which is set in its settings. The case is when the status of a users changes from online to offline, it takes some time for the OpenFire to update the status of the user and if a messages is sent to this user during this period, it will not be saved in "Offline messages" and we will not be able to access such message anymore. Which solution do you recommend to overcome this issue? It is reasonable to minimize the interval of our ping requests? Do you have any better solution for this issue? Regards
