Hi, I am developing an Android application that creates a hotspot on an Android handset. This application must be able to: 1) Detect when a device attaches to the hotspot as well as 2) Measure the data traffic of each device that is attached to the hotspot. 3) Identify each attached device by mac id and IP address From what I have researched this application will require some native code since Java would be too high-level for this development. I thus require the following: a) An API that can provide the above three functions b) Provide a prototype application that can test the API c) The API must be compatible with Android handsets that are running Jellybean or later. You must be familiar with Android Native Development as well as understand Wi-Fi and IP to complete this project sucessfully. Thanks.
