Hi, I need to build a prototype of a large solar lighting system and need somebody to to the system calculation and can provide the circuit (or may be existing PCB). I have 8 Panels (need to stick to the panels for some reasons) with each a peak power of 18W (see pictures) and want to operate 25-30 high bright LED`S with that (around 120 lm/led). The lights shall go on when starting to get dark and either run till batteries are empty or hour can be adjusted. I want a simple system with integrated controller. I know that there might be existing cheap PCB`s on the market but I need someone to to get this together for me as I am not an electronic expert but I can assemble and connect wires etc. So job will be: Discuss system design/choose circuit/PCB determine type of LED Calculate and determine battery Add on July 4th, 2014: I am thinking to replace the batterie by using super capacitors. Does anybody has experience with using super capacitors for solar systems?
