Environment: Sharepoint Online (2013) We are trying to automate the assignment of metadata to default column values when users create a custom document library. Attached image is a visual guide to our site structure. Assuming we just received a new client and matter at the same time, this would be our current workflow. Step 1. From home page, go to Subsite A. Step 2. Add new subsite based on our custom site template, name it the name of the new client "EXAMPLE CLIENT NAME", and click ok. Step 3. Once on new client Subsite B, add an app. Select our custom document library template and name it the name of the client matter, "EXAMPLE CLIENT MATTER". Our custom document library template has 4 folders, and 4 custom managed metadata columns. The four folders are: Court Clips, Correspondence, Discovery, and Work Product.
