Details at   [obscured]   Last year, we introduced a cloud version of our solution. We offer customer various desktop and mobile clients to access the cloud service. The main client is a Windows Desktop application that we have written based on our years of experience creating other windows based editions of our software. I need a function written in C language for Mac OS X, that takes as input a virtual keycode*, and outputs another keycode but corrected according to the current user keyboard layout. The prototype should be : UInt32 correctLayout(UInt32 inputVirtualKeycode); Why ? kVK_ANSI_*** virtual keycodes refer to a key physical location on a US keyboard. Thus, kVK_ANSI_A may refer to the actual "A key" if the user's keyboard is US, but may refer to another key if it's not. For example, on a european AZERTY keyboard, it will refer to the "Q key". What I need, is the ability to specify a virtual keycode like kVK_ANSI_A, and have it corrected by this function to map to the actual code for letter A, no matter the user's layout (and for all other keys of course). It should work for all types of keyboard layouts : QWERTY, AZERTY, DVORAK etc... The mapping of keycodes must NOT be hard-coded in the function, but must use the Mac OS X system API to detect the layout and automatica...
