Hello Prof. Tuan, I need a programmer that is an expert in natural language processing (topic analysis, classification etc.) based on statistical machine learning methods, such as Latent Dirichlet allocation, clustering, support vector machine, etc. Selecting the appropriate model will be part of the job so I would like someone who is extremely knowledgeable and experienced in this area. Also, the only programming language is Python so I would prefer Python programming but anything else such as C++, Java, scala, etc., would be acceptable as long as you can walk me through the details of application. Thanks and hope to hear from you soon. Kind regards, Song

We need a script that will determine optimal pricing for items in our online store, using reinforcement learning/Q-learning. Optimal pricing means maximum profit, not maximum revenue. The solution should use reinforced learning or Q-learning. It should NOT use game theoretic or derivative follower pricing algorithms.

I need someone who is well versed in C# to design us an adaptive neural network for time series data on predicting mangrove tree death in the Florida wetlands. We would be willing to accept other C programming expertise or Python, but C# preferable. We will train the network ourselves, so this step is not necessary. However, we ask that the adaptive network be designed as is described in the attached paper below. The neural network should be based upon the principle of learning and accumulating knowledge at each layer, propagating and adjusting this knowledge forward to the next layer, and repeating these steps until the desired network performance criteria are reached. As in classical neural networks, the DAN2 architecture is comprised of an input layer, hidden layers and an output layer. The input layer accepts external data to the model. Once the input nodes have been identified, all observations are used simultaneously to train the network. Each hidden layer is comprised of f...

I require an algorithm/program to read through a large number of contracts/agreements (mostly in PDF format) and return key information about each contract in a spreadsheet output. The key information would be information like agreement title, parties and date of agreement. I've attached a set of five sample agreements and an excel spreadsheet with the desired output of the project. The contracts have a variety of internal structures, therefore some machine learning principles will likely need to be applied.

I am looking for a data extraction script. This data extraction will be based on machine learning. A raw html will be provided to the script which can be multiple search results or a individual product. The format of the html will vary a lot and we are not looking for a regular expression based solution. This is not a tough job for those who execute machine learning in their every day work. There would be around 8 to 10 fields which would need to extracted like below - Title - Price - Condition - etc.... We need a solution to which we can train on some different HTML structure and later use the same on multiple websites. Also the websites that don't work needs to be fixed so that the Machine Learning can be improved. We would be preferring those who have done this already in another similar project. Please let us know a quote and timeline. I believe this would not be over 300-400 lines of code using the scikit-learn package. Please also specify in detail how you would approach th...

We need a system where we can train the computer vision system to recognize real world objects. We can feed the system with a few photos on different angles of a product. The system will be able to recognize the object with other photos of the object as the input. In the end there could be thousands and thousands of objects trained, the system still needs to be able to recognize the object with moderate accuracy. There is no limit to what type of object it is, from the easy to recognize beer bottle, book cover, snacks packaging to more complex objects such as wallet, bags, watches and even cars. We understand this technology is difficult and phenomenal. Nevertheless we are interested to know if anyone could do it.

NOTE: We are flexible with adjusting work terms! I need a learning algorithm to improve the way posts created automatically by an rss feed importer are categorized. I can get into nearer specifics later on. At the moment the plugin uses just simple keyword matching to categorize posts and we would like to implement something more intelligent. This is the way we envision it: 1) No training sets. Instead the training data should be compiled by user feedback. This should be in the form of how you see it in a facebook feed, meaning that there is a front-end feature allowing the user to indicate that the post is NOT a fit. 2) The above method refers to categorization of categories. Using the same logic we would like to have a separate function that runs independently that uses the algorithm to assess user preference. This means that the learning in this case would specific to the user and not the category. We are using a PHP/Wordpress framework. What language you decide to the run the a...
