The dispense is complicated by : 1) the possible existence of a proportion of un-dispensible volume (sediment) 2) various variables that can impact dispense volume 3) the volume is dispensed into a container/measure built to certain tolerances 4) there are rules about minimum dispense volume. We would like to explore the possibility of rapidly building a model expressing the rules and determining a domain of probability of outcome given the interactions of the various variables. The problem seems to be tractable to some kind if simulation / montecarlo approach but we do not possess the necessary skills/experience to determine if this is the case.
