Hello, I have content split into different blog posts and I'd like to combine them into 1 Ebook. Here is one post for instance:   [obscured]  /making-blog/1-1-create-wagon-site. I like the styling and I'd like to find it in the ebook as well. I have the original files in HTML of Markdown formats if you're interested. The final ebook needs to be sent by email in PDF format. I'd like to be able to modify it myself, so before sending me a quote, could you please tell me how you are going to proceed? Many thanks,

Design of Contentice Admin. =========================== Current Status ------------------- No work has been put into the design of the admin pages so far. The following images will help you understand how the application works:   [obscured]  /contenticedesign/ Background ---------- Contentice is a CMS API that you can use to build single-page applications (SPA) on top of. As such, the admin pages have functionality that lets the user create and add data that will be exposed as JSON and markdown to the SPA. So far, no emphasis have been put into the design of the admin pages, but for Contentice to go live, it needs an approachable design. Ideally, the admin pages will have a minimalistic design footprint. I need an estimate of the cost of designing the pages, as described below. I will as a minimum need PSD files containing each element, as well as an overall view of the design of the pages. Icons ----- Where possible, I would like icons to be based upon the animatab...

I use a Macintosh, on which I have experimented with writing documents as Markdown text (.md files). With an app called "Marked", this text can be turned into nicely laid out documents that I can then save as a PDF. Sadly, the built-in CSS styles of Marked are limited, especially also given my own personal limitations (I don't understand CSS enough), but I do like the concept where the author focuses on content only and someone else then creates the basis of turning this content into a nicely laid out overall document. Long story short: In the future I would like to do all of my writing in Markdown and create the respective PDFs with Marked. Most likely, over time I will need a range of of CSS style sheets, namely - letter / fax (not sure if that should be one or two) - CV - memo / proposal - invoice - column / essay - book (for ePub) This job posting is merely a start to this and focused on the CSS for letter/fax. I could show you what I wanted from an old PDF,...

I use a Macintosh, on which I have become a great fan of Ulysses III (and formerly iA Writer) to write documents in Markdown text (.md files). With an app called "Marked", this can be turned into nicely laid out documents that I can then save as a PDF. Sadly, the built-in CSS styles of Marked are limited, especially also given my own personal limitations (I don't understand CSS enough). Long story short: In the future I would like to do all of my writing with Ulysses 3 and create the respective PDFs with Marked. Most likely, over time I will need a range of of CSS style sheets, namely - letter / fax (not sure if that should be one or two) - CV - memo / proposal - invoice - column / essay - book (for ePub) This job posting is merely a start to this and focused on the CSS for letter/fax. I could show you what I wanted from an old PDF, you could propose how to graphically improve it, and in the end I would need the CSS, preferably well documented in case I would ev...

I have a manuscript of about 25,000 words written in Scrivener with some included graphics. I want to use Scrivener to publish both Kindle and PDF (via LaTeX forms of the book, so I think that MultiMarkdown feature of Scrivener would be appropriate. I expect to have to add tags to the Scrivener source to make it all work, but i don'w want to experiment with it. That's what I need you for! Right now, all the formatting is RTF (which sucks...). My aim is to have a PDF that includes: * an effective, hyperlinked Table of Contents * a hyperlinked index * internal hyperlinks * embedded graphics in subsection headers * call-out boxes, footnotes and sidebar text Your work product will include some combination of: * helping me structure my workflow with these tools * custom XSLT files for the multimarkdown to create better LaTeX * found or custom LaTeX style files ------------------------------------------ Added 16 AUG 2011, 14:56 PM EDT the book i'm working on is called "I Suck At...
