For   [obscured]   we have created several markdown pages (.md) that should be set into a template with at the left a menu, a header and a footer. We are not experts in this, but we *think* that by using something like Angular js, you can build a template (with menu, header and footer), and then just link the .md pages in (or compiled md pages). End result should be something like this:   [obscured]  /api/authentication/ (on that page you see a header, a menu at the left, and a footer). We deliver you all MD pages.

Hello, I need to have a Jekyll (  [obscured]  /) blog converted to Wordpress. All Jekyll posts are stored as individual yaml files (markdown format) with some metadata (post slug, url, date, etc...) at the top of the file. I need the URL structure in Wordpress to be exactly identical to the existing site so that existing referrer links and disqus comments will still work. The blog was done in Jekyll to mimic the Wordpress URL structure, so this shouldn't be a problem. There are a total of 401 posts. I'm hoping most of this can be done with a script and not manually. Thanks

You will be creating a website that will be used internally by our company to build and maintain music playlists. The site will list our available playlists and allow creation of new ones. For each playlist, the site will allow editing of playlist properties, including adding / deleting songs. See the attached specification document for more information on the website flow and functionality. * Use the Twitter Bootstrap framework for all UI (default styles are fine, but if you want to be creative, go ahead) * You must provide documentation on what it will take to get the project running on my machine within the project sources (preferably using Markdown). Any project which I cannot configure and run inside of 2 minutes will be rejected. * You must use PHP to hide our db keys. Javascript and HTML can be used otherwise. * I will be very picky about code styles and anything else I don't like. Expect multiple revisions and price your work accordingly. I am looking for solid design, ...

Attached is a sample html document. You'll notice that the contents between the xmp tags are written in Markdown and it uses a simple parser called strapdown.js to parse the markdown between one set of xmp tags into html. Once rendered in a browser, I need a Chrome Extension that copies the DOM Contents (not the source, but rather the DOM) between the xmp tags to my clipboard when I press a Shortcut key (Ctrl-Alt-C). I don't require a button or a UI. Below is a link to the dev tools cheat sheet. Search the page for "DOM" and I believe there are js methods for accessing the DOM.   [obscured]  -code.com/devtools-cheatsheet/

My Django comments section allow users to ask question that includes snippets of code. Think of StackOverflow. Users can make a group post that might look like this: ==== start example comment ==== Body: I'm having an issue with xyz code. Here's my Python code: ```python def fun(): print fun ``` The above code does blah blah blah... And here's my JavaScript code: ```javascript function() ``` ==== end example comment ==== I need someone to create a pre-save method for my model that will take group posts, convert the fenced code into highlighted text (I'm using codehilite), and sanitize the other text in the user's post. I will supply my current model which shows how I'm using python markdown & codehilite to create highlighted blog posts. Pay is $25

We want to use   [obscured]  -doc.org/index.html for our documentation. Please note this is *not* sphinx the search engine! We currently have our documentation stored as mark down files and have a process that converts them into HTML and PDFs. We want to move from markdown to reStructured Text. What you need to do: a) We'll provide you with a VM (on digitalocena) you will setup with necessary software. We want a shell script delivered that installs everything required (or puppet/ansible script). b) We'll give you access to a github account for our manuals. You'll need to convert our markdown content into reStructuredText for the manuals. c) Get Sphinx working, i.e. generating HTML, PDF, ePub etc. outputs d) Update our github webook to that we can "auto-build" when we comitt to git. Look forward to working with you.

Our website is pacificmedicaltraining.com and we would like to convert this entire website to Jekyll to simplify everything. Your job is to * Scrape the contents of the existing site * Create the template theme * Rewrite each page in Markdown The final product will be a working Jekyll project which we can then compile and publish to that website. YES! Your final project need not be byte-by-byte identical to the existing site. Our goal here is to simplify and have a good site that is easier to update. And we want to adopt Jekyll best practice. This is a serious project. If you are bidding, please demonstrate to us that you understand Jekyll and its best practices.

I have a website designed in HTML. I need a developer that will develop the website such that it integrates all the HTML and allows for user sign-in and sign-up. The user sign-in and sign-up is already provided by classes of easy to use libraries: - Integrate the html on the user login/signup page - Write a component to serve all the static pages (the text content must be in markdown as files) - Integrate the frontpage and make sure all links work properly - Write a user settings page component, which allows the user change email address, reset password, etc - Show an empty page when the user logs in. There is no need to do the actual functionality of the website, we are mostly interested in the user management part of things - Integrate the email sending component to send emails at the appropriate time Please, you MUST push the progress of your development to our GIT repo as you develop and follow to our strict milestone of daily reports. There are multiple coders working on the pro...

I need a 3 column CSS layout created. To begin, see the attached layout-design.png picture. This is what I need you to build. Requirements: * The solution must work in IE9+, Safari, Firefox, and Chrome, smartphone, and tablet (iPhone/Android) * The solution must work at any window width. * The solution must work at any window height. * Look at layout-design-columns-labeled-in-red.png -- this shows you the 3 columns I am referring to, labeled in red as "1," "2," and "3." * Column 1 is FIXED width, column 2 is FLUID width, and column 3 is FIXED width. See layout-design-columns-fixed-fluid-fixed.png. * (FYI: There is never any "content," per se, in column 1 and 3. They are just for design.) * When the content in column 2 does not reach the bottom of the browser window, all 3 columns must still touch the bottom of the browser window. (No 1px "hidden faux column" images may be used to achieve this.) See layout-design-always-touches-bottom...

Word parser and highlighter and text-input handler written in Coffeescript with Unit tests. Job Description: I have a specific set of front-end functionality that I would like built in Coffeescript. The code should include unit tests (e.g. Nodeunit) for all items. Additionally, you should include a basic README (preferably in Markdown) that details how to set up and run the tests (and any other information that seems relevant). I will provide 3 flat HTML template files for reference and which you can use for testing. As you'll see from the specific requirements, this is a typing test app, though with arbitrary text (not just plain English or other natural language). The specific functionality is as follows: - Programatically identify a given CSS ID for a source DIV - programatically identify a text-input DIV based on CSS ID - Parse HTML in the source DIV, tokenize this content (white-space delimited). Expect the content to be pre-styled using SPAN elements - Highlight "curre...

We need to have a javascript markdown editor. We like the functionality of StackEdit. But we don't need all that elements around it (like saving documents, , publishing, cloud services, etc.). It's an open source project so you can take that and extract the needed components. We would like to release the simpler javascript markdown editor also as open source. The code can be found under:   [obscured]  /benweet/stackedit So the task would be: - Extract the functionality to provide a simple javascript markdown editor, which has the possiblity of switching from markdown to preview mode. - If possible node.js should be removed, it should word standalone on the client side. - Publish the code in github under a new open source project.

I need a rockstar full-stack developer to build an awesome video site. There aren't a lot of features, so it's not a very large project. I have a UI style guide you'll need to follow from day one. Note: I'm also a developer, and your code will be continuously monitored for quality via pull requests. Features include: - Users (login, profile) - Social (Like/Tweet/+1) - Billing (pay-per-view for now, subscriptions may come later) -- Using Stripe Marketplaces; video producer gets the cost minus platform + billing fees -- Allow for other possible billing providers (like Coinbase?) - Videos -- Upload directly to S3 using Filepicker.io -- Transcode using Amazon Elastic Transcoder -- Search by tag, category, title, description or notes -- Video.js player with customized theme/colors -- Markdown video notes (editor/preview) -- Comments on videos (nested) -- Admin c...

We currently have a platform that allows small fashion retailers to sell full price inventory online. They can upload inventory onto our system and manage the inventory they've uploaded. Shoppers can then go ahead and purchase inventory from their profile on our site. We need your help to roll out an off branded version of our website that will be it's own web property, but pull from the existing inventory and associated data that the retailers have uploaded. Retailers will be able to select an item they want moved to the off branded website and the desired markdown amount. The item will be removed from the main site and listed only on the off branded website. The off branded website can leverage much of the existing sites code, including login/signup, checkout, shipping, etc.
