I use a Macintosh, on which I have experimented with writing documents as Markdown text (.md files). With an app called "Marked", this text can be turned into nicely laid out documents that I can then save as a PDF. Sadly, the built-in CSS styles of Marked are limited, especially also given my own personal limitations (I don't understand CSS enough), but I do like the concept where the author focuses on content only and someone else then creates the basis of turning this content into a nicely laid out overall document. Long story short: In the future I would like to do all of my writing in Markdown and create the respective PDFs with Marked. Most likely, over time I will need a range of of CSS style sheets, namely - letter / fax (not sure if that should be one or two) - CV - memo / proposal - invoice - column / essay - book (for ePub) This job posting is merely a start to this and focused on the CSS for letter/fax.
