Hello everyone, I am starting up a new web development company that mainly focuses on the recent web technologies. The company's first product will be a very very simple and classic WordPress blogger theme. English is my second language and I'm looking for someone who could proofread and edit (maybe add to) some of the copy that I wrote. The following copies have to be looked at. - WordPress Theme documentation - 850 words - Website (minimal landing page) - 60 words - Themeforest theme description - max 100words - Our first newsletter - 700 words Total word count: 1500-2000 The newsletter is about the top tools that should be used in a theme development process such as Sass, Gulp, Zurb Foundation etc... This email just introducing the tools to people who haven't heard about these. So I don't really go into detail, but ideally, I would like someone who knows a tiny bit about web development or willing to do the research. Don't get me wrong, I don't want you to be a programme...

I'm using SimpleNote on my mobile device to create single note files on certain topics/ideas, using ResophNote, they are synchronized into a folder on my PC. Here, every note becomes a single text file. To bring my notes in a strategic order which allows me to create cross references, I'm using a desktop app called "Zettelkasten". To memorize some of the notes (some notes are e.g. just words and their translations or definitions I've looked up) I furthermore create ANKI cards from SOME notes I took in SimpleNote. Furthermore, e.g. when watching a lecture online, I'm creating linear notes (one large text, consisting of different notes a, b, c, d) I want to split these linear conjunct notes into single files in the resoph-notes folder (then they will automatically get synchronized to SimpleNote). Furthermore I also want to create Zettelkasten and ANKI notes from these notes. Anki and Zettelkasten work via csv-Import, so the basic thing the program (python script) will have t...

Small job--need assistance in utilizing an R-markdown file (.Rmd) and knitr to loop through a data set and produce a separate PDF report for each employee listed in the file. Data processing work is complete; job involves developing R code to loop through each ID in a dataset, and producing a PDF for each unique ID. Would prefer this done with .Rmd rather than .Rnw.

I run a podcast, and publish study notes that accompany this work. I've been doing them in Word, but would like to switch to a simple Latex template so I can programmatically generate the study notes, as well as last-updated-at dates for each section. I've attached a PDF with (basically) what I'm looking for: - Lato typeface throughout. - 3 colour- and size-levels for headers. - each topic/section is page-breaked. - the pages are US letter, standard book margins, alternating odd/even (a.k.a. a slightly greater margin where the book crease would be, I believe the "book" documentclass does this already?) - footers with the text from the top level header on that page copied in, as well as the page number. - a nice looking blockquote box. - what's not in the PDF: a nice table of contents that matches the general style of the document would be appreciated. Table of Contents only needs to include sections / Header 1's. The only "non-standard" thing I'd like to have is &...

We have a bunch of tutorials written in markdown that need to have 3 code snippets from each on extracted. Basically, each article has the pattern of the first three steps listing: 1) What dependencies a project has 2) What setup is needed 3) How to use the project Each of those steps has one or two code blocks below the step. Code blocks in markdown look like this: ```language code ``` The ``` show the start and end of the code block. The text in place of "language" is the language for the code block. For each on of these blocks you will create three files in the repo like: /snippets/{project}/dependencies.{language}.md /snippets/{project}/setup.{language}.md /snippets/{project}/use.{language}.md You will place the code blocks in those files. In addition you will remove the code blocks in the existing steps and replace them with the following @@snippet(meta.snippets.dependencies)@@ @@snippet(meta.snippets.setup)@@ @@snippet(meta.snippets.use)@@ Finally, at the top ...

I need a simple text editor where you can only write forward (no backspace, no editing) until you hit a pre-defined word count goal. Then it unlocks and allows you to edit your document. This is the first in a sequence of very simple apps for creative people - each with a unique twist. If you provide good support, code documentation, and we get along, this will lead to other projects. I have been working with startups for over a decade and can provide all design elements. (A plus if you believe you can also make an Android and Web version of this app; not for this project but perhaps in the future.) Type of application development required: New Application Integration requirements: Standalone Application Purpose or functionality of application: - Ability to set word count goal - Only write forwards (no backspace or other options except Save) - *Markdown* compatible formatting - Once hit word count goal, screen unlocks to enable editing Platform(s) desired for application: Mac OSX...

****WE ALREADY HAVE A SCRIPT IN R-STUDIO THAT DOES ALL OF THE FOLLOWING. WHAT WE NEED NOW IS TO MAKE A SMALL EDIT TO OUR SCRIPT TO BE COMPATIBLE WITH A NEW EXCEL TEMPLATE**** **Attached is the script we are currently using. We just need to edit it to work with arbitrary number of columns with different headers** We have multiple choice questions stored in Excel that we want to convert into PDF form. This is for the purpose of previewing, because everything we have in Excel is written in markdown. That means that we use LaTex and designate it with double-dollar signs like: $$Some Latex$$ So we want a script that can do the following: 1) Be run easily on both OSX and Windows, where we just need to specify the Excel file to convert via a path or by dragging the file onto the application. 2) Convert the Excel file into a PDF document by iterating through each column with a header and each row. 3) Each row is separated in the PDF by a line (as shown in the sample output) 4) The hea...

All required parameters including the authentication information and report identifier should be expected to come in the form of kwargs. The API Consumer must include a function named "run" that returns a pandas dataframe with the data for each of the bullet points above in a tabular format. The API Consumer must be accompanied by a complete set of unit tests using both live connections to the API and mocked API connections. Greater than 90% coverage is required. Documentation ?
