For   [obscured]   we have created several markdown pages (.md) that should be set into a template with at the left a menu, a header and a footer. We are not experts in this, but we *think* that by using something like Angular js, you can build a template (with menu, header and footer), and then just link the .md pages in (or compiled md pages). End result should be something like this:   [obscured]  /api/authentication/ (on that page you see a header, a menu at the left, and a footer). We deliver you all MD pages.

Hello, I need to have a Jekyll (  [obscured]  /) blog converted to Wordpress. All Jekyll posts are stored as individual yaml files (markdown format) with some metadata (post slug, url, date, etc...) at the top of the file. I need the URL structure in Wordpress to be exactly identical to the existing site so that existing referrer links and disqus comments will still work. The blog was done in Jekyll to mimic the Wordpress URL structure, so this shouldn't be a problem. There are a total of 401 posts. I'm hoping most of this can be done with a script and not manually. Thanks

I am looking for somebody that can help clean up our documentation site (auth0.com/docs). Basically, I need to move all images that are referenced in the documents to /media folder. Currently most images are stored on dropbox or cloudup. All images need to be copied over and then the url reference in the markdown document will need to be updated. the structure of the media folder will match the structure of the docs so for example: Doc name: /this-is-a-doc.md Media files go in : /media/this-is-a-doc/*.* Doc name /scenarios/another-doc.md Media files go in: /media/scenarios/another-doc/*.* Before bidding please look at the github repository and see how many documents there are. This is something I would like to start on right away. You are required to have knowledge of git/github as these changes will be submitted via a pull request (we will provide the github account).

I need someone with experience with LaTeX and pandoc (Haskell tool for conversion of files between multiple formats). Pandoc can take a markdown file and process it to PDF, which it does via LaTeX (hidden step). The conversion traditionally uses a default.latex template to format the PDF output. I need to have this template edited so that the PDF output conforms to a style for our journal. I would supply an example LaTeX .tex file for an article, along with our journal's LaTeX .cls file and an example bibliography file and an example of the PDF we are aiming for. We are currently manually editing the .tex masterfile to insert authors submissions and produce our PDF. The goal is to produce markdown from the author submission and then convert this automatically using pandoc.

You will be creating a website that will be used internally by our company to build and maintain music playlists. The site will list our available playlists and allow creation of new ones. For each playlist, the site will allow editing of playlist properties, including adding / deleting songs. See the attached specification document for more information on the website flow and functionality. * Use the Twitter Bootstrap framework for all UI (default styles are fine, but if you want to be creative, go ahead) * You must provide documentation on what it will take to get the project running on my machine within the project sources (preferably using Markdown). Any project which I cannot configure and run inside of 2 minutes will be rejected. * You must use PHP to hide our db keys. We need a translation from either: - German to French - English to French for a software product. You can choose the source language, but the target language is French. Currently the word count is like: ~1600 words in the Markdown format. ~550 words in a single HTML file ~60 words in a .yml file Markdown format and YML is very simple. You can easily follow the example. HTML is also simple if you know what HTML is. I expect a translator to not translate word by word, but to preserve the meaning and make it sound "natural". The tone of the translation should be kept (informative and professional). Please note the following: - There will be a follow-up job at a later point of time. It would be great if the successful candidate would try to be available for this one too. - Native speakers of french a preferred - Please make sure you can deliver at least one week after we have agreed - Please submit a fixed price for the offer. Hello, We ran a first webinar of our product earlier this week. We've transcribed the text and share the PowerPoint presentation. You can find the transcript and the presentation attached; we've uploaded the full recording for your reference to   [obscured]  /download/webinar.mp4 We'd like to convert the webinar in a series of blog posts where we explain our product and our positioning. In that sense, you would take the transcript from the webinar and convert it in, probably, four blog posts: - Quamotion introduction - Automation - Cloud - Reporting The idea of the blog posts is that they are both readable and SEO optimized, where possible. Ideally, you deliver the blog posts in MarkDown format, but HTML or Word also work. If you have questions, let us know.
