Hello, I'm currently adding to a robot prototype I have, and would like to work with someone who has experience in working with manufactured products. Ideally you are a mechanical/electrical engineer or an industrial designer that would either help with the internal electronics and motors or a designer who will help with materials and 3D designs that are ready for manufacturing. The things I have already worked out are: - The way the robot navigates - Self balancing on ball (see picture) - Dimensions The things I need work on: - A way to interact with the robot - Developing the arms to fit the design - Work with parts (micro processor and such) to help when it comes to manufacturing

The job is to calculate the amount of air (m/h) and the pressure (Pa) required to cool down a box with a sensor inside and to advise in case optimization is required. Details: 1. The box housing with the sensor inside is modelled in 3D with Solidworks. The Solidworks model will is attached. 2. The box is having a ceramic plate at the bottom and the rest is made from aluminium. 3. All holes seen in the box will be closed with bolts, apart from the socket at the top for the cooling air inlet and the row of holes at the back for escaping of the cooling air. The row at the back can be adjusted for more or less holes, as per the best air flow. The size of the inlet nozzle can also be adjusted as per flow requirements. 4. The cooling air temperature is 48C. 5. The maximum temperature inside the box shall be 80C. 6. The surrounding temperature is 200C 7. Below the 7mm thick ceramic plate a piece of material is constantly touch with 450C temperature. So, we require someone who i...

We are a product development company and need to source a reliable supplier of a specific stretchable headband. The band we are interested in has a soft, highly stretchable rubber core and sheathed in print fabric. The band expands about 300%. We require a very specific width to the rubber core. It must be 14mm wide. Looking for a suitable supply agent who can source quotes for a variety of high visibility, colorful print styles. Attached Youtube video shows an existing, common 10mm wide hair band. We need 14mm wide.   [obscured]  /watch?v=uuDES-M8t9o&feature=youtube_gdata

The structure will be made of interlocking panels that can be assembled/ disassembled quickly. Every part of the structure will be modular: walls, floor, roof...such that it can be adapted to available space. The inside will be free of any structure except supporting beams if necessary (not desired; unless it is impossible not to have them). The total structure; wall panels, floor material (floor for rough surfaces. Ground should be left unchanged after structure is removed) and roofing should be designed so as to fit into a container (20ft or 40 ft; several if necessary). The structure would pass ordinary minimum requirements for fire, wind resistance, etc. The materials will be designed to withstand multiple installation and dismantling. It is desired that the structure will be solar lit; therefore pre-works on panels for wiring and power outlets (lighting and charging of DC appliances).

Hi, I'm in need of architectural renderings for 8 homes, both exterior and interior images. I've seen examples of various styles of renderings online; B&W, color, and 3D. Attached are a few that I like. I'm wondering how much it would cost for each of these? Can you also let me know how long it will take, as well as what materials you'll need from me in order to complete the job. I'm happy to answer any questions. Thanks for your time.

I'm looking to create my own line of cabinet knobs to sell via my website   [obscured]   Currently, I'm selling a number of other top manufacturers. For my personal line, I'm less interested in completing with the top brands like Amerock, Top Knobs, etc. for standard metal hardware and more interested in selling unique, artsy knobs closer to those sold on places like Etsy or Anthropologie, obviously without copying anything proprietary. I'm especially interested in products that can bring positive attention to the company. I'd be interested in sourcing from disadvantaged communities, using unique and sustainable materials, etc. The more we can create a brand that people talk about, the more it will help with sales of all of our products. I'm looking for a sourcing expert to take on this task and lead the way. This person should have a mix of experience, connections, and creativity.

I have a prototype of a phone case project I am working on. The prototype was printed off a 3d printer. I need to have the case re-rendered on autodesk or whatever modeling software. I need materials added that will protect the phone itself. The case itself contains a sliding lighter so I need a custom lighter created just for the case based off the one included in the prototype. I also need the case to look sleeker, more appealing and more compact.

I am a designer of of large (5-10m) kinetic (moving) wind sculptures. Now I am developing a series of smaller kinetic sculptures (1m to 3m) which I would like to first have 3D printed as high end maquette/models for client approval. As I am not an engineer, I am looking to collaborate on regular basis with someone, who can do one or ideally both of the following: 3D PRINTING: 1. Take my CAD files (done in 3DMAX 2015, also exported as DWG or other formats) and descriptions - and clean them up, error check & make them for watertight, with correct tolerances and material thicknesses, - and convert them to STL, so that they are turnkey ready for 3D Printing. 2. Manage the 3D Printing Process with Shapeways or IMaterialize or others for me and have them deliver the finished 3DModel to me. --------------------------- I would be glad for your engineering and improvement ideas. Re 2. - If you can also help or manage the actual 3D Printing process, that would be a great bonus - but...

Design a toilet seat with: 1. Slow close lid. Example of such a lid:   [obscured]  /watch?v=oeG1hZaUPnw. Damper examples:   [obscured]  /selling-leads/726366/shock-absorber-damper-for-soft-close-toilet-seat-hinge.html 2. Spring based mechanism to store potential energy when the seat cover is opened (manually). 3. Latch to hold seat in place when opened (so the spring does not push it back down). 4. Mechanism to open the latch. When opened, the spring force should rotate the seat forward and down, and the damper should ensure the lid closes slowly. The latch will be opened as a result of a signal produced by an electronic system. The mechanism can be electromechanical (e.g. solenoid based), or mechanical (e.g. a motor). I'm open to other means to reach the desired function in the above steps. Total cost should be less than $5 for spring, dampers, latch, solenoid/motor etc using retail parts (expected wholesale cost of materials is < $2). Cost of other electr...

Hi, We just bought a house and we would like to create house plans using Sketch-up and Layout. We have done most of the as built measurements and done 'raw' floor plans in Sketch-up. We need someone to help us finish the house model and then layout the necessary drawings for the renovations of 2 full baths and a 1/2 bath. I have sketched the design and have the selected the materials and have all specification sheets for the fixtures. We then want to use Layout to create the architectural drawings need for permit and construction. Here's a list of the drawings needed: 1. Existing House Floor Plan showing the layout of all bathrooms 2. Revised House Floor Plan showing the new layout of bathrooms 3. Detail Floor Plan for Each Bathroom (all on one page if possible based on scale) 4. 7 Elevations of bathroom interiors showing new design (which will be provided): - Hall Bathroom - 2 Elevations - Master Bathroom - 4 Elevations - Half Bath - 1 Elevation Att...
