We need a number of simulations coded using either Matlab or Python. These simulations involve dynamic models for solar PV systems with battery storage and load control and applying various constrained linear and non-linear optimisation methods to design and control these energy systems. Initially these will be deterministic models but we will also look to stochastic techniques in due course. We basically want someone to replicate the simulation studies of several journal articles. These articles explain the models and algorithms and also provide example data and results but they do not provide the code to replicate the simulations. The initial aim is to simply reproduce/validate the results of these papers. Good object oriented programming is required to ensure code is re-usable and portable.
