Less than a week ago I was sold a car in supposedly working order and nothing wrong with it. I test drove vehicle before I purchased it and everything seemed OK. I purchased car and proceeded to drive home when check engine light came on. I immediate called dealership back to let them know what was going on. They said to bring it back and they would have they're shop take a look and fix it for me. They said changing the oil and replacing the catalytic converter would fix the problem. I picked it up and proceeded to drive home once again. Half way back the problem was still there. I've tried to contact them numerous times and no response I recently have had it diagnosed by a mechanic and they say the engine will need replaced. Also, I've researched they're reviews since then and it seems 9/10 also had bought lemons off of them. I understand where there is no warranty on this car. but they also left out vital information about the vehicle What I would like is to have a...

We are looking for a mechanical engineer who specialises in mining vehicle tracks. More specifically - an expert to assist on a patent matter in the technical area of mechanical crawler tracks for mining vehicles. It is in relation to a patent claim; we are looking for someone with experience in mining vehicle tracks to give their opinion as to what is consider 'state of the art' technology and what the known problems with the tracks are. Further, we are looking for someone to meet with them and provide a declaration on these issues. It cannot be someone who has worked for Caterpillar or ETS Services. It will likely being someone who works with a leading R&D team that does crawler track development ? potentially Japan or Germany. I am unsure as to how effective legal databases will be for this, nonetheless, it may be worth a try. Please let me know if you think you can assist.

We have produced 10 mechanical innovations for a lightweight folding electric wheelchair, some of which can be registered as a design, and others that need to be patented. We have drawings and prototypes all of these units and are looking for someone to prepare drawings for these according to the specifications set by the patent office. If you can provide us a quote per drawing, obviously taking into consideration that they may need to be adjustments for those which are more complex, we would love to consider your services. You can view some of these innovations here   [obscured]  /watch?v=IsleObkcYhk and here   [obscured]  /watch?v=DPqbf6BeN1A

Hello Kevin, I was wondering if you also do these type of agreements. I met this engineer and he told me that he believes, likes my project and he is willing to fully develop it. That means create a final prototype ready for manufacturing of my invention. He will not charge for the time he will spend making this happen, but instead he wants 15% of the net profit resulting from the sales of this product. I need to open a company for this, What would you suggest S CORP or LLC? This is what he wrote me: Luis, I will be more comfortable when we can create a mutual contract that we can work on to align both of our interests in a positive way. The main thing I would like to have in the contract is that I am protected to receive a percentage of the profit gains from any technology that I develop, and have that in effect for at least 10 years after the product becomes profitable, or until we both agree to a new contract. However we do the contract, I just want to make sure that we are both ...

I am in need of a letter to serve as written notice for the termination of consultant services. I have been working with the consultant for a number of months under a Consultant?s Agreement drafted by another lawyer. I have prepared a draft copy of the Termination Letter covering the main points I would like to see covered in the document. I require legal assistance for this because I would like the Termination Letter to read as a legal document and there are a few extenuating circumstances that could prove problematic for me if they are not handled properly. I have attached the signed Agreement you drafted for me for your reference. His monthly rate has been $1800USD. Potential complications include the following: 1. The Agreement expired on Oct 31st. Should I first have him sign another Agreement and only after he does give him 30-days written notice? 2. Since the nature of the work he has been hired to do is mechanical and electrical engineering, it's very technical. I don...

Hello, I'm looking for advice on how to proceed with my invention. I've been told to make sure there is a problem being solved, a market for the product etc. and then to do a thorough search on USPTO preferably with an expert to make sure that it already is not patented. My question however revolves around the process and since the machine I am thinking of needs to be designed with a mechanical engineer I'm wondering whihc is the best way to proceed. Do I design it first and then search or is it possible to search first before designing it? Please advise. I look forward to working with you! Best regards, Steve Morris
