I have an already existing construction material procurment log that has been created on excel. Our superintendent uses primavera p6 to update the schedule. I want to create a work sheet that can update/link with his p6 schedule without hassel. Ideally, when he updates his p6 schedule I can import his information so it can change my dates on my procurement log. For example, if i have Door Installation scheduled for 1/1/14, the delivery will be 2 week prior to that, and the submittal package will be 4 weeks prior to delivery but if the schedule falls behind a week and it shows on the p6 schedule. I would like to export that p6 information to reflect on my procurment log. Could get kind of confusing; especially since its in construction terms. I would like to get this done asap!!!!!

Two things to update: 1. Add the comment field from the table to the report 2. Change the field type of IO number from number to text so it will take up to 25 char of text Comment section should be in same font and style as the rest of the report and be located between the detail section and the section that says "thank you, we appreciate your business" paragraph. I would like to create a Project Management portfolio dashboard in MS project by importing data from a single excel spreadsheet. If the content in the excel spreadsheet is updated, then the MS project file is automatically updated with the most recent content. The reason I would like to use this method is b/c have the ability to access all project data by exporting an excel file from a tool, thus I'd like to leverage that file to automatically create a roadmap/dashboard in ms project, as well as any reports I could generate from Ms project. My project is a bit layered. I've attempted to figure it out on my own as it sounds easy to do...I just don't know how to do it. My nonprofit group is responsible for calling/visiting senior citizens (done on a monthly basis). We have to keep track of who was assigned to each senior (we call them visitors), whether the senior was contacted, whether they were visited, and the date(s) they were visited. I receive the seniors "database" in a horrible Excel worksheet that contains their personal information (names, ages, addresses, etc.) Up until now, I've been doing these assignments manually inside of the worksheet, and they're a pain. Our non-profit needs to develop a project management program in Excel or Access (to be portable into SQL at later stage). We need it to present a data form interface for our staff, in which they will enter the various tasks (with deadlines) they will do in monitoring and evaluating their work.
