I am presently involved in a research project with a focus on the engineering industry. I am collecting data via Excel, the data is typically arranged in tabular format with varying header details. The collection process will take a variable amount of time, potentially on going. However, while I have access to over a thousand spreadsheets of the first batch of data it would be cumbersome for me to manipulate it into a format where I can use it for commercial decision making - one directory already has over one thousand spreadsheets in it. I want a simple Access-macro that can pick up information from cells in all the Excel-documents in a folder, and then put the information into a Access database. There are several cells i want the macro to pick up, and the starting folder does have some subfolders, which complicates the macro slightly. Also the information will also need to be picked up on several locked sheets. But the excel-fies the macro will run through is uniform, so one macro in Access and/or Excel should be sufficent. It would also be nice if the code made a report i Excel/Access summarizing how many document it added to the Access database and maybe the name of the document.

Hi, I want a filemaker front end for free radius user creationin pfsense, the filemaker part will simply have a few fields. Filemaker user name (upon filemaker login) Time new radius user new radius password data allowance (in mB) data allowance expiry (week or Month) cost - variable but per GB field to indicate money has been taken. The filemaker database will then create the free radius user and password and print out the user details ... the radius user, password, data and experts will be written to the free radius database in pfsense... ideally the filemaker data file will be held on the free radius server as a stand alone file, however it can be held locally on the machine connecting to it... It may also be useful to write all the filemaker fields to custom sql fields in pfsense and just make filemaker the front end to the sql, utilising filemaker scripting etc to was the use.
