Hi, We operate a training business and advertised for an Enquiry Management System (EMS) last year. It was meant to be a simple system to allow us to move away from Excel and we had a mixture of Access based (with an SQL backend) and PHP based solutions. We opted for an Access based option on the basis that many of our offices are in Africa and internet connections sometimes drop off for a day or so, and we wanted a system that could be used offline and would synchronise when the internet was back up. I worked with a freelancer who completed 90% of a website project, but ended up taking on higher-priority clients and could not finish his commitment. I am trying to take a cell in excel and remove some of its contents based on a certain criteria. For example, a cell that is "great office space available $10 per month." - what I would like to do is remove all the content from the cell which is to the right of the $ symbol (including the symbol). So the cell should now be "great office space available". Part 2: I have a long list in excel of sentences like this.
