Not necessarily looking for a long-term consulting project; really need someone to come in for a day and fix/rebuild our existing Sharepoint install. We have an installation of Sharepoint Foundation 2010 that we are hosting internally on a box running VMware 5.1; Windows 2008 R2 64-bit. The box is maybe 3 ˝ years old, but with virtual machines, shouldn't matter; it's an older system but there should be enough memory & headroom. This is the second server we've hosted SP on; we first rolled it out in 2006/2007. We had a consultant set it up at that time and we now believe it may not have been the best install. The site did not have a fully-qualified address (until we changed it a month ago) and was frequently difficult or impossible for remote users to access. You needed to be behind firewall to get in at all, and even then needed to sign in repeatedly.
