Not necessarily looking for a long-term consulting project; really need someone to come in for a day and fix/rebuild our existing Sharepoint install. We have an installation of Sharepoint Foundation 2010 that we are hosting internally on a box running VMware 5.1; Windows 2008 R2 64-bit. The box is maybe 3 years old, but with virtual machines, shouldn't matter; it's an older system but there should be enough memory & headroom. This is the second server we've hosted SP on; we first rolled it out in 2006/2007. We had a consultant set it up at that time and we now believe it may not have been the best install. The site did not have a fully-qualified address (until we changed it a month ago) and was frequently difficult or impossible for remote users to access. You needed to be behind firewall to get in at all, and even then needed to sign in repeatedly. We have an old outlook plug-in written in VC++ version 6.0 which only supports 32 bit Microsoft Outlook 2003 and 2007. We intend to convert this plug-in into a C# program that can support all the outlook after 2010 (both 32 and 64 bits versions). This plug-in connects to an LDAP server (we should be able to configure this) and authenticate himself against LDAP server. Upon the successful authentication process, it reads all the contacts and imports them into Outlook address book. Every few minutes this plug-in re-syncs the contacts from LDAP server into the Microsoft Outlook address book. You should be able to read the existing source code in VC++ and convert it into the C# code. We are interested in candidate who: 1) are familiar with LDAP 2) Have experience in developing Plug-in for Microsoft Outlook.

Hello I need to transfer all my documents including email from my old laptop to my new laptop on which I have installed Microsoft 365 (business premium). I have backed up my old files and email files (which include about 15 email accounts) and want to set this up so that it is fully functional on Microsoft 365.
