I have some excel tables I have created (data is taken care of and so has the formatting - or so it seems) that I need to update weekly. I want to copy/paste this stuff (in HTML formatting preferably) into these Powerpoint tables I have created. Every week I want to be able to copy and paste updated excel data into these tables. I want the tables to be perfect. The columns should be the same width, height, font style/size. I don't want the size of the table moving. Ever. For whatever reason when I try this, some tables become too large for the slide when I copy past even though there font size is not too big and there is excess space in the rows/columns. The data is there. The excel table I want to look like is there. The powerpoint table I want it to look like is there. I just need help figuring out WHY (and how to fix) the formatting issues I am having when copy / pasting. Should not be a difficult job for someone who is better at Excel and PPT than I am.
