Ok so I am new to this process and will describe my needs to the best detail. What we do: We are a full service HVAC company but the bulk of our work is installing thermostats for an energy company as part of their energy savings program. Job 1: Build tracker: I take emails with our calls listed on them and take out work order numbers, customer name and address and input them into an excell spreadsheet. When my technicians have completed the call they send an email which I use to update that same spreadsheet with what we did there and how much the energy company owes for service.
