This is a student project. I have two gears, one is fixed and the other turns around it, there is a slot on the moving gear holding a slider, the slider changes position as the second gear turns, the whole system is hold in upright position. Forces in effect are gravity, the weight of the components, and traction. i want to run two analyses to check the stability of the system, one without traction and the other considers it... the studies may use variables for weights... we can also assume starting point at fixed speed at zero degree. it is better if you can use Pro Engineer. Please see the attachment to get visual about the system. P.s: To balance the system i added third gear on 180 degrees from moving gear, so they are symmetrical about the fixed gear, and added second slider, and extended the two bars to accommodate the new gear and slider. this way the system is balanced and the slider is the focus point. I am okay with adequate theoretical solving and diagrams.
