Architecture firm needs occasional assistance in the preparation of maps using publicly available GIS data. Initial needs are combination of various available data, shape files and perhaps aerial photos to create custom maps of neighborhoods or areas of Dallas as the basis for planning efforts. Later, data on individual properties may be collected for inclusion within the file. I expect that we will mark up paper copies with needed info and boundaries to use as direction for the GIS compilation. Would like the deliverable to be exported to Autocad 2012 or earlier so that it can be manipulated slightly here in the office. We have no GIS capability in the office but are open to options there if it makes the process easier. This work is expected to be needed infrequently and irregularly.
