I'm looking for a part-time US or Canada based accountant to help maintain our books. We currently use Quickbooks desktop with multiple company files. Online/cloud based accounting systems are not a possibility at this time due to integration with our billing system. In no particular order this entails: - A/R: Our (web based) billing platform automatically generates and sends invoices to customers. It's also where credit memos are generated. Unfortunately, while invoices and payments sync to Quickbooks the credit memos have to be entered by hand. - A/P: We use bill.com and love it. This should be on auto-pilot. - Chart of Accounts: We've never enabled account numbers in Quickbooks ? I'd like to explore cleaning up the chart of accounts and normalizing them across the company files. - Customer account management: Billing questions, credit card updates, etc? We always seem to have 1 or 2 problem accounts that need a phone call before they'll pay their Invoice. First stage collections...
