Hi. I am working on several projects that will require data finding, data cleaning, statistical analysis and writing up reports. The reports will need to be written in non-technical terms but still be statistically rigourous. The data analysis needs to be done in R. This is non-negotiable. The work will be approximately 10 hours a week for the first two weeks and then about 5 hours a week for a month or two. I will have deadlines to meet, but other than meeting the deadlines, you can work on your own timetable.

I have datasets consisting of CSV files that are used to plot simple 2D line graphs. The data needs to be reviewed by visually examining the 2D line plots; however, there are far too many CSV files of data to review them all manually (many thousands). I require a Windows command line application in C# (source code must be provided) or a program file written in R that will examine each CSV file in turn and generate a numerical assessment of the data in the file based on certain rules, and then append this numerical assessment to the CSV filename in order for these files to be later sorted according to this numerical assessment. In this way a subset of CSV files in the dataset can be preselected for plotting and visual analysis, eliminating the need to generate and visually examine many thousands of plots. Please note: I already have R code which is used to generate the plots from the CSV data (and which can be provided if necessary). I do NOT require code for plotting, only code to ...

I'm looking for a programmer to make a program or script for me which automatically enters terms into Google Trends. I am trying to find terms which have high correlation coefficients with the valuation of Bitcoin. The program will: 1) Load and update the raw data of the historical median value (per day) of Bitcoin in the past 3, 6, and 12 months (there will be three different calculations). Any accurate source for this is fine, so far I have used bitcoincharts.com to do this manually. 2) Automatically create and enter a search term into Google Trends. 3) Load and update the raw data of the relative traffic for the term in Google Trends (the data Google Trends provides). 4) Calculate the r-value correlation coefficient between the two sets of raw data. 5) Repeat steps 2-4, automatically generating more and more search terms to check and calculate the correlation with Bitcoin valuation for. 6) Filter out any r-values between -0.6 and 0.6 (so only strong correlations and reported) ...

Looking for someone that can pre-process near infrared (NIR-FTIR) spectral data for pre-processing. Data processing will require: -Standard normal variate (SNV) - Baseline correction, normalization - 1st and 2nd derivative - Savitzky-Golay smoothing Possibly: - PCA (decide later) Work must be done in either MATLAB or R. I can provide more details later.

I am a visually impaired bioinformatics graduate student using microarray data for my master's thesis aimed at deciphering the mechanism by which the yeast wild type can suppress the rise of free reactive oxygen species (ROS) induced by caloric restriction (CR) thus extending lifespan but the Atg15 and Erg6 knockout mutant cannot. I have already advanced in this project and need help finishing it. I would need help in literature search to compare my results with others and start writing about it. Since my remaining vision is very limited I need very high magnification. But that makes my visual field very small. Therefore, I need somebody to teach me how to use these programming environments, especially for microarray analysis, next generation sequencing and constructing gene and pathway interaction networks. This is very difficult for me to figure out without assistance because Zoomtext, my magnification and text to speech software, on which I am depending because I am almost bl...
