run a Uber driver, income processing service. I accept people's payments from Uber I take the drivers on as employees and pay them as such. I issue them with a fuel card for petrol purchases and an e-tag for toll road usage. Each week from their Uber income, I deduct - those two amounts (tolls and fuel) - Workcover insurance (1.1%) - Superannuation 9.5% - my Fee GROSS < 0 (per week) CHARGE GROSS BETWEEN 1 - 00, we charge GROSS EARNINGS GREATER THAN 01 I have attempted to create an excel spreadsheet that will allow me to import data from the fuel card usage and from tolls, allow me to input driver's income and then produce a report showing: - Name - Employee Code - Gross income - fee breakdown - Income history graph - Toll usage for past 7 days - Fuel card usage with average mileage (based on odometer reading) (graph) I was advised due to the volume of data being imported each week, a database would be a better way to go. Need a seasoned professor or experienced senior geotechnical engineer to write a 50 to 60 page Word(R) file on the following twelve topics: 1- Active earth pressure using Coulomb theory. Should included inclined backfill, wall friction and wall inclination considerations. 2- At Rest earth pressure using Jaky's equation with consideration for OC ratio and inclined backfill. 3- Passive resistance using Coulomb theory. Should included descending slopes, cohesion, slope creep, wall friction and wall inclination considerations. 4- Effect of tiered retaining walls. 5-Effect of adjacent surcharges. 6- Analysis method for ascending backfill slope angle exceeding soil friction angle. 7- Global stability analysis using Spencer method. 8- Analysis & effect of keyway. 9- Effect of stratified or layered soils. 10- Effect of relieving platform. 11- Effect of expansive soils backfill. 12- Effect of seismic earth pressure. I just don't have the time to do it. It will be used for seminars and in...

We have several customers in the energy business for whom we perform analysis services. Over the past couple of years we have made a few R models for them which allow them to input their data and receive an answer. We'd like to put this into a basic web application which: --Allows them to authenticate to gain access --Asks them to upload relevant input files --Allows them to be "checked" for issues (according to our tests) --Runs the R model --Prepares a csv for download The R model takes roughly 5 csv's as input, and produces 2 csv's as output (we have unit tests prepared which can help confirm accuracy during development). Looking for: --Full-stack web app developer --Proficient with Ruby on Rails (preferred) or Django on Heroku or Elastic Beanstalk --Prior experience with R --Experience running large datamodels via Hadoop clusters (optional) We'll review applications and vet a short list via Skype. Subsequently, qualified applicants will be given a short "test&q...
