We have a requirement for research on a wireless data acquisition system. R&D will be required for the circuit board that power to the transducers, collects the data and transmits them via bluetooth. The project has the following hardware and software requirements: 1) Miniature circuit board design, ideal size 20mm x 40 mm 2) Board needs to provide constant current power to two sensors 3) Microcontroller needs to read the sensor's output over a fixed time period 4) Microcontroller needs to transmit the data set via Bluetooth to an iPad 5) PIC microcontroller family 6) MicroSD card for backup storage of datasets and/or micro-controller program 7) Firmware written in modular format 8) Always-ON concept with power-save mode 9) Data-sampling rate > 6,000 samples/sec for < 1/2 sec 10) 16bit or 24bit A/D converter 11) Low power consumption due to battery powered. 12) Possible PCB build optional Clear, concise and full documentation (notes, design decisions, tests, etc.) to be ...
