We have an Step7 PLC program that we lost the original SCL (structured control language) code for. But we have the STL (statement list) code. For those unaware, SCL compiles into STL. Although if you don't already know this, you probably aren't a good candidate for this. We are looking to recreate the SCL from the STL. There is one function block in particular that we want back. The STL for this function has been attached. The current project is for this one function only. The deliverable is an SCL code file which performs the same function. The nice thing is using Step7 this is easy to verify. You can change view from SCL to STL in the IDE. The goal would be to produce an SCL file which results in the same STL code. Any questions of course let me know.

We have started to build our own granite block wire saw machines whic we intend to resell when we have tested it. We have no problem with the mechanical and drive design. However, we find the electrical drawings, electronic drawings and PLC programming to be very costly in South Africa. We have purchased PLC's and HMI interfaces but does not have the skill to program and do the wiring. What we need is: 1) electrical drawings 2) electronic drawings for PLC limit switches etc. 3) programming of PLC which will be emailed to us to load onto or PLC. We can send the programmer the PLC software. The saw has 2 moving directions, Up and down(U&D) for the wire flywheel carriages to push the diamond wire into the granite block and front(F) and back(B) for the trolley which moves the granite block. There are limit switches for the U, D, F and B positions. Firstly the U button will be pressed to move the carriage up to the max U position by triggering the U limit switch. Then the trolley will ...

We are developing a machine that is used in the food industry. We need assistance to do the schematics of the electrical and programming of the PLC. Our machine will have two motors for agitation and maintain control of 3 temperatures with approximately 6 temperature probes monitoring the system. The temperature is managed by induction heating elements and gas cooling system. We are currently building two machines and have over 6 more in this series. We are looking for long term contractor as well as ongoing work troubleshooting and optimizing our controls. This project is fast paced and requires immediate attention. Expected completion in 4 days for the electrical schematics and plans.

This is a job to start in the next 3-6 months, but I am starting the bid now to be sure I give ample time for candidates to present ideas and proposals. We will draw a 3D model of a Water Filtration Plant. A fairly large undertaking with all services and structures shown. When this is complete, we need someone to animate it, and make it an interactive model. The client would like: - the ability to do a virtual walk-through of the plant - be able to freeze certain layers to focus on certain aspects, such as the water pipes - have the direction of flows shown, or animated - Possible tie-in to their SCADA system to show real-time data This is a fairly extensive job, and I would expect an extensive proposal that would display your expertise. With the entire scope of this project still not entirely proposed, we would like to know your hourly rate proposal, along with how many hours you may be able to commit per week. If you have done such a project in the past, maybe you can let us know t...
