Please do not submit a proposal if you don't have experience in Golang. I'm not looking for developers who know RAILS and have been looking for a reason to learn Go. I've got several projects that use a common CSV / Tab-delimited file import methodology and I'm looking to get some better performance and take advantage of Go. There are currently 4 file schemas that get imported and normalized after being retrieved from S3. The Go application would need to perform the following functions for each file schema: 1. get the current list of "files to be processed" from a table in Postgres 2. iterate through each file and import into a "raw" table (used by operations to diagnose any import issues) 3. iterate through unprocessed records in the "raw" table and import into the table structure used by the web application The different file schemas are Appointment, Sale, Service, and Inventory: Appointment file contains customer, vehicle, and other data re...
