1) Participate in a study on the usage of statistics in papers 2) Help us find faulty research publications that possibly lead to inefficient treatments Almost all insights in research are either verified by experiments that involve a test group (that gets a treatment) and a control group (which unknowingly doesn't get a treatment) or in a passive analysis of existing data. In both cases statistical methods are used to draw insights and to back things like the introduction of new medication. These statistical methods often require the data to satisfy certain criteria in order to deliver meaningful results. In a manual sample, we have found that these so-called assumptions are often not checked in papers which leads to wrong conclusions being drawn by researchers in many fields.
