We need to have a cost segregation analysis for apartment buildings. We have many buildings which are lowered priced and some that are more. We need that someone experienced that will stand behind their work if we get audited due to the cost segregation guaranteed. They need to understand the process, prepare all the tax filings and make it easy for us. My wife and I started a business in 2012 to buy and export overstock products (electronics) to my father in South America. I did some research online and found out that international "sales" (I don not consider these sales since I am shipping these to my dad) are tax free. However, since this is a business where I do have some small monthly expenses (such as a storage place, boxes, pallets, etc) I usually mark up the costs 5 - 10% so I that I can recover my expenses. Because I have never considered this as a serious "business" I have only filed on a yearly basis the "Texas Sales and Use Tax Return" form stating how much I have exported from the U.S. At some point (about two years ago), I considered selling some of the products here in the U.S. for which my dad had too much stock and didn't need more. I invested in a commodity fund and just got my K1. Looking for solid bookkeeper with a good handle on US business accounting techniques/practices. We are a small print shop with no employees that needs some help in reconciling and producing the following reports for our 2014 tax return. I have 2014 Company Income Tax paperwork that has not been filed. We have a couple of business filing on the same tax ID. In short, my company raises money for charities by charging our clients' debit/credit cards. The issue is how do we effectively get this money to charities, so that our client's can receive the entire tax credit for their contribution. For example, a client donates 100.00 on their debit card and: 1) We take the money and put it where? To ourselves or to a third party who can handle this and then distribute directly to the nonprofit? 2) We are taking a small transaction fee of 10% plus the 2.9% that goes to the credit card company. 3) How can a company like Venmo or Square Cash help us achieve this, if at all?
