Looking for tax consultant and a Quickbooks Pro consultant who can help us in a variety of accounting and tax preparation issues. In addition to a small corporation, I am a landlord for about 10 rental units in my personal name. Accordingly, experience with U.S. landlord and real estate accounting is a plus. We prefer to do our own accounting data entries, but are willing to sub that out to the correct consultant as well. Proficiency with US tax and US accounting a must. Strong written and verbal English language skills preferred. Synchronization to US Eastern time zones a plus. Provide telephone number so we can discuss the issues.

We are a small business, LLC, with 2 founding partners. Our accouting file is currently on Quickbooks Desktop Pro 2014. In order to have all our financial data in check, my business partner and I have filed extensions for our 2013 personal returns until the business return and schedule K-1's are complete. I self-prepared and timely filed my 2013 return using Turbotax, and I'm not entirely sure that my wash sales were handled correctly by Turbotax. I also have another question about the return of contributions to a Roth IRA and Form 8606 (see below). In 2013, I opened and contributed $5,500 to a Roth IRA, and in 2014 I contributed another $3,000 to that Roth IRA. My total contributions (2013 and 2014) to the Roth IRA are $8,500. The value of the Roth IRA is now $10,104.10 (contributions + earnings). However, now I want to start a business and I now would like to use those funds to start my business.
